Zero was still asleep in the morning. He and Ace had talked well past midnight about how their trip was going to go, where they were going, and what they should take. He was tired by the time they finished and was trying to catch a few hours sleep.

"Better make sure, I'm not going to play momma on this trip," Ace said walking downstairs, "If you're still sleepy, I can do what my commander used to do to all the dogs in his unit, spray cold water on them."

"Don't think a hose is gonna reach all the way to the second floor." Zero replied, rolling his eyes as he followed. He grabbed the bones he had collected to pay for whatever they did, and as the passed the kitchen he grabbed himself two pieces of bread and a glass of water to keep him going.
