Alright, I already posted something like this over in the Other RP section, so I'm posting one here as well, and probably in the other sections as well.

Alright, first off, I know this isn't a roleplay, I would've put this in the Request catagory but that's limited to Fanart. Anyway, onto the reasoning for this. I had writer's block before when it comes to my own roleplay plots (who hasn't?) but I've been able to help out a few of my friends when it comes to making their plot ideas during those times. So I got the idea that maybe other people would benefit from this. The way this works is if you're having trouble thinking up a roleplay plot or need a little help getting your imagination flowing, post it here and ask others to help you with the idea. I'd prefer once someone has accepted to help you, you and that person discuss it via PM. You may be asking 'why not just PM one of my friends for help?' Simple, your friends might not be intrested in your idea, this way you can meet people you might have never RPed with before and not only might you end up with a cool RP, you might end up with a new friend.

The second thing you may do with this tread is post ideas you came up with but don't plan on actually making, basically putting them up for other people that can do something with them to take and make into an RP of there own. This may help those really good at writing but trouble with thinking up plots.

Third is post the kind've RPs you like, that way should someone be looking for members to invite to their roleplay, they can find you easily and ask instead of being limited to your close friends.

Anyway, last but not least, BE RESPECTFUL!!! Do not steal anyones RP idea unless they put it up for someone else to use, I will pay attention to this and if this occures, I will alter a Mod. And if someone posts an RP idea you don't like, don't be rude and say it. If you can offer constructive critism, do so.

If you have an RP that you need more people for, you may posting a link and a brief summery to attract people to your RP.

I hope this ends up helpping people. I'll also try to get some good RPers I know to assist me in assisting you.

Ok I am hooked on the Penguins of Madagascar and I want to create a really good advanced roleplay on it with a team of huskies any suggestion to "Baltofy" it.

Ok, which parts would you specifically want to 'Baltofy'?

well the penguins themselves turn them into huskies, change up the location but first a plot. I have nothing on plot

Maybe a bunch of army dogs (trained dogs for the military) end up getting transfered to the wrong location, like their plane has to drop its cargo early and they're parasuited down somewhere. Then they end up prefering the unstructured life over the heavily reinforced one but still have their military ways.

Well you need an antagonist of course. What it is is up to you.

I've only seen Madagascar II once, but the peguines are in Africa, right?
Well, if thats true, than you could have a sled team traveling to... Russie for some race. If you want a lot of repeat Balto characters, it could be Kodi's mail team having their first chance at a real, competitive dog rave. Or, if you want some new characters, it could be Dingo's (I suggest him cause I think he would have a sled team, but it could be Saba or one of the unnamed pups) who are such a good team that they are known around the world. Either way, the sled team and Balto and Jenna and maybe the other children (if they want to come) go on a plane headed to Europe. But the plane is lost in a hurrican type storm and crashes somewhere in Africa. Their pilot is badly injured and the plane is is damaged. They find the penguins who offer help in exchange for their sled (because they find interest in it for some reason). None of the other Madagascar characters need to be involved since they will be busy with their Africa life.

Now, I need some help with an rp idea too. For the longest time, I have wanted to have a successful second generation Balto rps. It hasn't happened yet. New Dawns was partially successful, but the last few pages have only involved one of the pups. So, than I tried to do a series where each on focus on a different pup, but that reach a little more than 5 pages before dieing off. It was call Balto Four: Race For It All. My latest one, Family, took so long to get enough characters that now it's ready to start, no one's responding. And it was my favorite one!

So, I want to now what you want to see in a second generation roleplay; all the pups or one? lots of chars or not? sled team or no? lots of romance or much more action? Steele/Steele's pup involved or a new villian? Tell me! I'm desperate to make one of these work!

Sorry for taking so long, I had to think a lot. I prefer action adventure RPs, thats my personal preference.

One pup seems a better option to me, more character focus.

Thats what I've been thinking too. Maybe Saba or Ding since I already have basic stories for the two of them. So, which do you think is better?

Dingo - All his life, Dingo has lived in the shadows of his father and his brother, and he doesn't think he will ever be able to match their greatness. He is just having getting on a sled team. His luck changes when a musher finally sees potential in the young dogs and starts his training. Although he doesn't have the natural ability that both Balto and Kodi had, with a bit of time, Dingo soon matches their speeds. His musher builds a team with Dingo as the lead, and they soon are known as the unbeatable team of Nome. A very important race is about to begin called the Iditarod. Dingo's team is entered, but with his over confidence, he neglects to ask his father for help of any kind. He immediately regrests this decision when an old face shows up a few days before the race. Steele has recovered his fame as a sled dog in the town of Anchorage and has a team of his own that is claimed to be unbeatable. Many new dogs show up in a Nome, and when one of Dingo's teammates falls ill, he replaces him with a new street dog that happened to catch his eye instead of Balto. But Dingo doesn't know how cruel Steele can be, and after pratically abandoning his father, Dingo has no one to turn to.

Saba - Sabaka tried the life as a sled dog just like the majority of her siblings, but she soon discovers that life is not for her. She stays up late listening to the howls of the wolves through the window of her owners' house. Just as she looses hope in ever joining in with those howls, a lone wolf comes to Nome, searching for his sister who he was separated from during a hunters' attack on his small family pack. Saba can't see any way but to help this poor wolf. But just as Saba s falling for this wolf, a malamute/wolf mix comes to Nome. It is none other than Steele's own son! And he is also the wolf's half-brother. Saba is torn between the two fighting brothers as the wolf wants revenge on the mix because of what Steele did to his mother. With all the fighting, no one notices as a black and white malamute skulks around in the shadows of the town, planning the death of not only his mix son but also seizes the oppitunity to kill two birds with one stone and have his revenge on Balto and killing his daughter. Will the threesome see the danger before it is too late? And will the brothers be able to put aside their differences to save the life of their friends? And when the time comes, who will, or can, Saba choose?

Both are very good but I personally prefer the Saba one, more drama and I can really see the possibility for an intense showdown at some point in there. What I'd add is maybe Steele has another son that matches his personality more who shares his goal or have Steele team up with another villian. Two villians seems more fitting for this particular plot than one.

That'll will definately make it more interesting. I think I'll get that up soon. I'll post a link to it when I'm done.
