I'm new to RP, so I don't really know what makes for a good RP, so I'd appreciate some input on an idea I had.
RP: At the end of Balto 2, Aleu swims to the ice path in order to lead the wolf pack across the ice bridge. This is her first trip away from home and now she is entirely cut off from her previous home with Balto and Jenna. This is also her second day living as a wolf, and just a few days ago, she strongly denied being a wolf. So she still has to find and accept her true identity, while adjusting to life without her parents and her friend/mentor Nava and life as a wolf, as well as leading a pack of wolves to an unknown new home. Will she be able to manage all of these challenges without succumbing from the weight of these challenges and ambitions of other wolves?
Sample/possible introduction: The ice bridge led straight into the wind, but Aleu continued to lead as the wind strengthened. Aleu hoped that the wind would not blow in a storm, since there was no shelter in sight. Aleu kept the pace, knowing that slowing would not help her escape from the oncoming storm. The wolves slowly approached the cloud of fog and soon they were entirely immersed in its thick form. Aleu kept the pace for a while, but she suddenly stopped. The wolves behind her growled as they saw her stop. “What’s the hold up?” they asked. “There’s a fork. One part of the bridge leads somewhere else and I can’t see which way to go,” she responded nervously. “Which way do we go, leader?” Serithe asked. “I’m not sure,” Aleu answered, staring into the opaque fog. She noticed a seagull landing on a nearby iceberg. “Maybe I can ask him,” she responded hopefully. “Real leaders don’t ask for help,” Serithe snarled, under his breath. “Excuse me, we’re trying to cross the ice bridge. Do you know which way we should go?” Aleu asked the gull. “I don’t associate with wolves,” the gull snapped back angrily. “I’M NOT A Wolf…” Aleu’s voice trailed off as she realized how wrong her former habit was. She winced as she turned to face the other wolves. “Sorry, just a silly slip of the tongue.” Aleu put on a smile hoping they wouldn’t notice. “You’re not much of a wolf right now,” Dagird snarked back. “Now which way do we go?” “Yeah, what does your vision say about this fork?” Serithe asked derisively. Aleu could feel that the pack behind her was growing impatient and angry. She needed to act quickly. She stared into the fog desperately hoping for a clue. Suddenly, the fog cleared enough to reveal the ocean past the end of one of the paths. “This way,” Aleu yelled, jumping down the correct path, hoping that everyone would forget about her slip back there. She continued running as doubts began creeping into her mind. “Do I really belong here? Am I ready for this kind of responsibility? Maybe Papa can give me some advi-“ She hesitated as she realized that she was on her own. For the first time in her life. And she couldn’t go back. She began to shake as her eyes began to water. “NO!” she thought blinking away tears. “I have to be strong.” She put her focus back into the journey as she tried to ignore the creeping doubts in the back of her mind.
Characters: Aleu: Same personality as the movie, a little bit hesitant early, but growing more confident as she becomes more comfortable Serinthe: Follower of Niju. Ambitious and he doesn’t believe that Aleu should be the leader. As the primary antagonist, his plan is to gain Aleu’s trust, while secretly sowing discord in the other wolves, so that once she is no longer needed, he can take over as leader of the pack Dagird: Equal opportunity antagonist, he tries to increase his own standing by jumping on other’s mistakes. He doesn’t particularly dislike Aleu, but she just happens to be the easiest target at this stage. He acts as the antagonist for the first part of the story until Serinthe can join in. Other wolves of the pack are needed as well. The major ones would be a previously high ranking wolf that supported Nava and acts as Aleu’s main supporter to the rest of the pack (Also a possible love interest) and a female that Aleu can use as a best friend and another source of support. Other wolves could be used as well
I'd appreciate any advice about this RP. I have the general plot fairly fleshed out, but I don't know whether it would be any good as an RP. Also, if you are interested in this RP, that would be nice to know as well.

Thanks for the advice. However, I'm a little bit confused about what you said. In the character list, I had these descriptions Serinthe: Follower of Niju. I had these two in mind as the main villains, Dagird at the beginning and then Serinthe emerging as the primary antagonist later. Does this kind of plot device not work in a RP?

The way I was planning on having Dagird and Serinthe interact would be that Serinthe would be the evil wolf who actively hates Aleu and Dagird would be more of an opportunist who preys on whoever he sees as the weakest, but he's not necessarily evil. Since Aleu would be extremely inexperienced at the beginning, Dagird would find her the easiest target and be the primary antagonist. As Aleu becomes more and more competent, Dagird would see less opportunity to attack and woud fall in line with the rest of the pack, probably becoming a mostly minor character, while Serinthe would see that Aleu was gaining power unopposed and would become more direct in his opposition.
