Alright, first off, I know this isn't a roleplay, I would've put this in the Request catagory but that's limited to Fanart. If this can't be here, mods please move it to somewhere it belongs. Anyway, onto the reasoning for this. I have writer's block at the moment when it comes to my own roleplay plots but I've been able to help out a few of my friends when it comes to making their plot ideas. So I got the idea that maybe other people would benefit from this. The way this works is if you're having trouble thinking up a roleplay plot or need a little help getting your imagination flowing, post it here and ask others to help you with the idea. I'd prefer once someone has accepted to help you, you and that person discuss it via PM. You may be asking 'why not just PM one of my friends for help?' Simple, your friends might not be intrested in your idea, this way you can meet people you might have never RPed with before and not only might you end up with a cool RP, you might end up with a new friend.

The second thing you may do with this tread is post ideas you came up with but don't plan on actually making, basically putting them up for other people that can do something with them to take and make into an RP of there own. This may help those really good at writing but trouble with thinking up plots.

Third is post the kind've RPs you like, that way should someone be looking for members to invite to their roleplay, they can find you easily and ask instead of being limited to your close friends.

Anyway, last but not least, BE RESPECTFUL!!! Do not steal anyones RP idea unless they put it up for someone else to use, I will pay attention to this and if this occures, I will alter a Mod. And if someone posts an RP idea you don't like, don't be rude and say it. If you can offer constructive critism, do so.

NEW: If you have an RP that you need more people for, you may posting a link and a brief summery to attract people to your RP.

I hope this ends up helpping people. I'll also try to get some good RPers I know to assist me in assisting you.

Alright, I'll be the first to try this out.

I was reading this book on magic, and in the section about luck it talked about cats. The unlucky black cat and so on. It mentioned that during the time of the Salem Witch Trials, it was tabby cats that were said to be evil and bring disaster. It also said that in Britain (I think, I don;t really remember nor have the book with me at this time) it is white cats that are feared the most. So, to get to the point, I wanted to do something with three cats (one black, one white, and one tabby) that haunt this house that used to belong to an accused witch. I kind of go off into so many directions after that. I have so many ideas, and I really need help picking one out and building upon it. 1) It could be like a scary movie where a group of friends (human) go into the house on a dare and are haunted by the trickery and illusions that the cats possess. I find that these kinds of plots are hard to rp though. 2) The accused witch that used to own the house was real and transferred her powers to her three cats. One of them refuses to acknowledge the power, one uses the magic for good, and one uses it for evil. The cat that has refused the power must come between the other two because they have started a bloody war between themselves. 3) Based off of idea two, but the power is transferred to only one cat. The cats of the town see some mysterious going-ons in the house and want one of the cats to pay for what has been done (I haven't decided what has been done because I haven't had time to think on it). Anyways, the cat who as the power tries to hide it and the other two are being falsely accused, ect... 4) Again, based on that the cats have the power, many generations later, three decendants have inherited the power and are curious about it. But curiousity can kill a cat, as is well know. What trouble will these three friends cause?

So, will anybody tell me what idea is best?
Oh, and the cats will obviously be immortal in all of the idea except idea four.
Anyways, what do you think?

Intresting ideas. I like 3 myself. I do have a suggestion, part of what this thread is about. In withc trails, Wickens and Druids, which used the Earth's herbs and supposedly its power, using Mana, the life force of the Earth, where often accused of witchcraft. Maybe you could do something with that. Anyway, its an intreasting idea.

Hmmm. I agree with Poison that number four does have lost of potential. I am kind of attached to number three though too. I can see that number one isn't like (I really didn't like it either to be honest) so I'll throw that one out the window.
Godzilla - I absolutely love the Wicka and Druid idea, but I don't see how their powers could be transferred to the cats. They are not actually magic, just really good with herbs and potions. But it is definately a good idea for a future roleplay.

I recently returend to the site from a trip and I got an idea but I'm having trouble working out the kinks and getting a title. Here's hte basic drift:

There are two breeds of shapeshifters that are most common.
Werewolves, the strongest and biggest, and weredogs. Weredogs are smaller than werewolves and turn completely into their animal but werewolves only change halfway so tehy stand on their hind lgs on most occasions, which alos helps their size. There was war and the werewolves won, gaining dominance over the land they all live in.
Some weredogs are now extinct and some remain free. A weredog sets out on a quest. A quest to return freedom to weredogs. He joins a pack of weredogs and, together, they beign this quest.

Please help me out! I need a title badly and I know it has kinks that I just cna't straighten out.

i have a cool idea but i don't know how to plot it. basicly there are two cowgirls who are half-sisters, the older one's mother died two months ago, leaving the farm to the younger one's dad. the two same aged half-brothers always do bad stuff and make it look like the to sisters did it. there baby sister doesn't do much. i need help on the plot, the horses, dogs, cats, and cows need to do something, and somehow i need to fit in a rodeo.
