The series was great,but look what they did to Charlie and Sasha.

How does their relationship here compare to the marriage at the end of All Dogs Go To Heaven 2?

well, I don't know if they were really "married/mated" at the end of ALL Dogs 2.. they were living in different places in the series.. I guess they like each other .. just not commited ..

I whould say the same about it not being a true "relationship". The big flaw about Charlie & Sasha is that the relationship was so off and on that I felt that both of them didn't understand each other clearly once All Dogs was done & over with, and they didn't get anywhere with there moments in the Series.

But I think the reason why it went this way was becuase the makers of the Series thought that a good relationship whould be boring, but if you saw something like "The perfect Dog" it showed them doing lovely dovey things and it was fun.

So the spark was always there, but the creators where always holding back and played it safe.

I would have to say they're relationship has potential but has yet to reach its potential. There are moments in the series where they seem to love eachother and others when it seems that Sasha hates Charlie and at times it seems like they are just friends.

It's a given that there are some discrepancies between the movie and the series, so one can't really try to interpret the second movie by the series.

All said and done, I think each has its benefits. The series was a lot more entertaining, what with the banter between them, and if it had gone before the second movie somehow, then it might have made sense. But for canon purposes, I stick with the movie.

Christmas Carol portrayed them as a couple pretty much, and its the finale. So I'm assuming it takes place a bit after the series and they got together then. I think it was a matter of Charlie's wavering personality and repeatedly falling back on his ways. But in the third movie, he'd pretty much changed to good so I think some offscreen character development occured.

I think that for the sake of the series, the studios/writers decided that it would be less entertaining to watch a perfectly happy couple.

Instead, I surmise they made them an off/on again item, much like relationships you see nowadays. It's not as consistent, and it isn't canon, but it's certainly good fun to watch them squabble, and it makes their good moments all that much more sweet to watch.

They seem not too connected anymore.

okay i have theroy on this, okay at the end of the movie charlie was no longer a angel but at the beginning of the series he was an angel a gain, thus i think that something happened between the end of the second movie and the series that caused charlie to be an angel again thus not be able to be with sasha because of some rule and this really ticked off sasha and she takes out her fruastration bout it on charlie, and they are still togeather but not togeather at the same time, cause if the rule and the times when she is pissed she is really only mad cause she wants to have pups with charlie, but thats just a shot in the dark

maybe your right. maybe something did happen after the second movie and before the series. i never really thought about that until now.
