We know Charlie was close with Flo in the first movie,but who 's the more favored match for Charlie? Sasha or Flo.

Please state why you think Flo/Sasha is a better pairing for Charlie.


Of course, I'm for Sasha and Charlie,but I can't help but wonder.

well, obviusly I'm for Sasha and Charlie together, they were two lovers in the movie and at the end a couple, Charlie and Flo looked like close friends to me, nothing more =)

I agree with Saske ;3 Flo and Charlie are just good friends. Whether or not they had a relationship isn't really stated in the film.

Flo was a friend or mother figure to Charlie in my opinion. So Im gonna go with Sasha on this one.

I'm of course for Sasha and Charlie. Though I'm not much into that pairing myself to be honest. ^^;
Just not a pairing person. *shrugs*

Anyway, with Charlie and Flo, it's like with Anabelle. There was just no spark. And I've gotten more of a sibling vibe from them anyway.

If I had to choose, Charlie & Sasha but to be honest I think neither of them really suit Charlie as a lover. It'd be much more interesting if a love interest for him was also ambitious and into "making it big", perhaps in competition with Charlie though that'd probably be much too cliche. xD

you know interestingly enough. I was never sure who Charlie's girlfriend ( if he really had one in the first movie) was ..

I thought it was Annabelle/Whippet Angel in the first movie because of that Love Survives song at the end credits.. but I guess that was supposed to be more of a Charlie /Ann-marie song.. but after watching the movie more times he was just trying to dupe Anna into getting the watch.


as for Flo, I guess I took that "Uncle" Charlie bit a bit too seriously .. thinking that Flo was his sister.. ( he is part Collie after all)..


I read somewhere from IMDB.. that someone who worked on the film that Flo was an ex-girlfriend.. Charlie was into commitment since he was obsessed with gambling and such.. and he broke up with Flo.. if you notice in the movie she does try to flirt with him a little.. also notice that Burt Reynolds and Loni Anderson (who voices Flo ) were married at that time and later broke up.. that may be why Sasha was included in the 2nd film..

In all honesty, Charlie doesn't need to be with EITHER of them.

It was obvious he wasn't into Flo like that, seeing as he appeared to be making excuses to not be with her. So she's obviously not a candidate. Maybe at one point in time, but not anymore.

And I just don't like Sasha. I liked the tease she appeared to be when you first saw her, but she lost my interest when she gave that stupid dog that bone. "OH LOOK HOW /CAAAAARING/ SHE IS! SHE HAS SUCH A GOOOD HEART"

She's got a serious case of the Sues and its really unappealing. Her stubborn attitude is not something Charlie would want to chase after.

@ Cat: I can see what you mean about her 'Sue'ness, thanks for pointing that out. About the time when she thanks Charlie for the 'doggie bag' did I start finding her a bit... distasteful. I still find her a decent character however. And I'm afraid I don't really understand why her having such a 'good heart' would be such a bad thing

Its not the fact that she has a good heart, its the fact that they shove it in your face so much. We'd be able to tell her good nature by seeing that she's taking care of a kid that isn't even hers. It would've added to her mystery as a character, until the revealing of David. It was unnecessary for her to give that bone to that one dog. It wouldn't have fed him anyway xD Its a BONE.

Ah, haha. Excellent point. And I actually thought of that myself watching it once. Certainly bones aren't that filling. I mean if they want to smother her kindness in your face more, why not have her go out and get the thing a box of actual Milk Bones? >.>

Or just buy him dinner, find him a home, and a family?

I think Charlie & Sasha are a better couple than Flo. I think Flo had a crush on Charlie because she almost kissed him before that one green pup bit his legXD
