It's not spamming if he's complimenting on them for finding the cel, which I find to be a great and insightful addition to this page.

Don Bluth himself has stated recently in an interview that he does have a copy of the uncut version, since he was out of Luca's and Speilberg's hold on taking away cut cels, it is pure luck he still has it. Universal however, never asks Bluth if he would like to do commentary or give cut scenes for the DVD's, so he keeps it to himself. :/

That's a great idea, though I doubt they would go back an animate a new song sequence. I hope one day we can see the uncut version, but for now I'm going to ask Bluth myself during his next Q's and A's. :3

I don't understand why people destroy film footage like unused parts in ADGTH.

In older days it would be to hard and much of a hassle to keep up with the film of cut scenes. Remember, All Dogs go to Heaven deleted scenes weren't destroyed, Bluth was able to get ahold of them, but all of Land Before Time's deleted scenes, 30 minutes of film, were most likely destroyed. So we still have a chance of maybe seeing those cut scenes one day.

Oh. Well I guess that would make sense but anyway I guess we may be able to look forward to a special edition Blu-ray, DVD or even iTunes movie that includes the deleted scenes.

It's not available, so to speak. If Bluth has not released them by now he may not - unless a special occasion requires them. So they're privately owned, so to speak.

Despite being a huge fan of this movie I had no idea this existed. xD I only have the VHS and when I saw it in theaters again this wasn't in it. to me it kinda ruins the joy and amazement you get the first time you see the castle change from it's dark, ugly outside to the lush, angelic castle you see in the ending but whatever. But this was apparently animated for special edition, and like the Morning Report from The Lion King special edition, it's something Disney does because these movies made TONS of money and are loved by tons of people.

MGM doesn't give their movies the love and restoration the Disney movies get, hence the washed out colors on the Blu-Ray. Maybe it could happen, but probably not. :/

Disney's got the cash and the image to really care about that stuff.

Maybe it wouldn't be a original song but a dark reprise of "let me be surprised."
