Tytain nodded at Lughooey.

'Yes, they are futher in. Lord Malvon brought them in early, he says that there is thunder in the air.'

The young buck shook his tired head and began slowly to drink the water of a stream nearby. 'I've never seen a real thunderstorm before,' he remarked between gulps of the clear and cold water.

Juliet bonded towards Geeri, knocking into Quova by accident.' Whoa, sorry,' she said the young fawn.

((Would I be able to include Timbre and Minuet, by chance?))

The russet buck tossed his burred antlers. "Minuet, are you sure there's a herd out here?" He asked, flattening his dark ears and looking into the finely curved face of his sister.
"I'm positive," she assured him. "This way. Maybe they'll entertain us - and we can entertain them!" She reared up slightly and, kicking out her dark back legs, she trotted ahead. The big buck sighed and, shaking his head with a smile, followed her toward the Silver Herd.

The wind was picking up fast - cold and sharp. And a light shower of rain was begining to fall.
Tytain groaned as he felt the first few drops hit his face and drizzle down his muzzle. Lord Malvon said that the storm would last seven hours at the least and that most of the deer should be undercover before then.

'Looks like we have to take shelter now,' Tytain said, lifting his head from the stream. He shook his wet face and look towards Lughooey. 'You'd better take Geeri and the fawns back, Lughooey. I am going to search for Zima, Kami, Jas and Oihana. I think they left.'

Timbre sneezed as a cold, plump drop fell on his nose. "Well they'd better be close - and kind! The median is gonna be an awful long walk in the weather coming on." He looked up, the dark mark on his face fading a bit as the rain darkened his red fur. He trotted ahead with his sister.

Before long the forest broke and the pair came out into a meadow. "I smell deer," Minuet told him.

Tytain trotted somewhat awkwardly into the forest, hopping slightly and trying his best not to put too much pressure on his broken back leg, which recently looked swollen. He sniffed the air for his companions, but the rain had covered their scent, so he went on through the woodland in the heavy rain and under the now darkening and foggy sky, braying their names and listening intentedly for an answer, in vain.

Sighing with tiredness, he rested and looked up into the tree brances, the rain was getting heavier and heavier by the second. The others had probably gone home. Suddenly, there came a cry, it plainly said that Kami and her fawns were found and were being led back to the Silver Wood for shelter. But what of Zima?

Biting his muzzle in pain as he felt his leg dislocate for a brief second, Tytain moved on.

Lughooey answered Tytain with a pronounced nod, before nudging Ammet. 'Come on, me gal, let's be following after young Juli - there she is over there with your mother.'

Ammet staggered forward towards the rest of her family, walking heavily on tired legs. She soon found herself surrounded by the other fawns, and Flinder was licking her cheek sympathetically.

'Oh, Ammet, you look awful!' said Flinder. 'I smell berry juice all over you, you must have eaten a whole lot. Lie down by mama's feet, right here, and once you've had a little rest we'll be moving back to our thicket ...'

Meanwhile, Co-Deputy Djenva had come across Tytain. From where he stood on the crest of a large, tree-scattered hummock, he could perceive the young fawn stumbling along through the forest. He could also see two deer, a buck and a doe, making their way across the meadow which lay not far off. He knew they would already have detected his scent, judging by the direction the wind was blowing.

Djenva began steadily descending towards young Tytain . . .

Tytain paused for a breath and coughed. He heard the rain as it pattered on his small antlers. Shivering in the cold, he turned his head and looked about him, there was someone or something approaching him.

'Hello?' The young buck said through a mouthful of rain water.
Looking back at the way he planned to go, Tytain caught sight of two silhouettes in the distance, the fog that was suddenly falling with the down pour was too thick for him to make out what type of creatures they were.

"Yes, who is that?" Timbre called over the rain. "We don't mean any harm. My sister and I - we're entertainers looking for a place to stay til the weather lightens!"

Djenva heard Tytain's coughing, and later detected exchanged words drifting on the sharp wind from the meadow.

The rain was becoming extreme, lashing down from the sky like thousands upon millions of small wet arrows. The branches of the surrounding trees bent towards the ground. Djenva, as he walked sedately onwards in the direction of the meadow, had to duck down and sidestep to avoid the boughs which bowed down low.

Soon he had entered the meadow.

Tytain's eyes widened when he saw the two shapes walking towards him through the fog. He checked their scent, they were no one he knew.
Grinding his teeth together in fear Tytain stepped back and was about to make a run for it, when one of the shapes spoke.

'Who...who are you?' Tytain asked, he stood tall now, trying to look bigger and stronger, thinking that if these "entertainers" as they said they were, turned out nasty, he might able to scare them.

"My name is Timbre," the buck called. "I tell stories and sing. This is my lovely sister, Minuet - she dances. Is there a place we can all shelter?" He asked, going closer.

Djenva hesitated at the fringe of the meadow for a split second, then broke into a trot towards Tytain and the strangers, who seemed to have met up.

He slowed down to a walk as he neared the deer, and halted upon reaching them, just as one of the two newcomers - a young, russet-coloured buck - finished speaking.

'You are welcome to stay in our lands, considering you don't mean any harm,' said Djenva, having caught the buck's words. 'My name is Djenva, by the way. Co-Deputy of the Silver Herd. This young buck is Tytain.'

Tytain jumped when Djenva suddenly appeared. He sighed with relief when he realized who it was.
'Ohm, C..C...Co-Deputy Djenva, Sir!' Said young Tytain, flicking his wet and mud covered coat.

Then, after Djenva as introduced him to the two strangers, he nodded.
The rain filled leaves of the trees whipped at the four deer's.faces and stung them terribly.
Tytain coughed again.
