I've never herd of there being a silver vershion of the breed. The link dosen't work. Anway, here is a pic of one I edited.

Huh. Looks like a chubby Weimaraner XD;;
Cute though :3 Can't say I'm dying for a lab ATM cause I have no room for any other pet, even a hamster, let alone a lab, but they are lovely dogs <3 Someday, when I move out and it's just me & Chris... <3

I live w/ my parents in a small, 1 family house - but we already have 3 cats, 2 dogs, and 4 mice... I know people who have a lot more pets, but for us, this is a good amount  When I move out, though, into my own house, I plan on being a continuuing to be 'pet house' ;3 So when I have the space & it's my own choice, I'd love a big dog or two, maybe a lab or lab mix :3~ I'm also fond of dobies, collies, bullmastiffs, etc... I think I'll probably adopt from a shelter though so I don't know the chances of getting a silver lab would be... pretty slim I'd imagine I wonder how/where/when/etc. the breed was developed :O It was news to me seeing this topic, I'd like to go look up more about them :3 I did a google image search and they are verreh pretty. Again, they remind me of weimaraners. And bambam... I fully agree with you! I've never lived in a house w/o at least one pet. But yknow.. the more the merrier ;D

Silver Labradors don't exist. They're crossbreeds, and anyone who is trying to sell you a silver/blue/charcoal/whatever Labrador is ripping you off.
Labradors come in three colours, and three colours only: Black, yellow and chocolate.

Maybe they did all start off as mutts, but the point of categorising different breeds is to have standards for each, so that the dogs breed true to that standard. I'll explain more later.
