Spirit Stallion of the Cimarron is an animated film released in 2002 and produced by DreamWorks.

The film combines 2D and 3D (for decoration mainly) is one of the first of its kind. It is also one of the last traditional animation theatrical releases, and the last of his production studio.
The history of Spirit is that of a young stallion traveling across the great plains of the West, fighting for his freedom and his family. A quest of initiation into a historical context where for once the animals do not speak.
To date, no action is contemplated.

Today, around the world, Pixar's 11th full-length motion picture, Toy Story 3, was released. I'm sure a lot of you have been waiting a long tome to see it; for people who first saw Toy Story 2 in theaters, they've been waiting the better part of eleven years--including myself. In celebration of this movie, I want to take a moment to remember Pixar Animation's films.
First of all, I would like to bring to your attention that, before 1995, animated movies only existed in two genres: those made by Disney, and those not made by Disney. Of these two catagories, the Disney films are by far

15 commentsI just realized that I still didn't write a news about this, even though that's probably one of the things that I'm the most looking forward this year.
After 15 years since the end of the show, and nothing new since then (save for the DVD release), Darkwing Duck comes back TODAY!!!
Not as a TV series, mind, you, but as a comic book. This is published by Boom Studios!, and these are all-new stories involving that crazy superhero duck of Disney. Darkwing Duck will be an ongoing monthly release, and the quality seems high level. Judge by yourself :
And as a good news never

Here's something that (I hope) will allow more people to come and join the sites. You know, most people are lazy when it comes to creating an account on a site, which is why I have now added a "Facebook connect" button to make this easy.

It's simple : if you have a Facebook account, you can click on that and you'll automatically become a member on Animation Source!
Needless to say, you need to own a Facebook account first, but seriously, who doesn't nowadays...
Facebook connect can also be convenient for all of you who are already members here : by associating your Facebook
10 commentsAs early as 1934, Walt Disney started persuing the idea of a full-length animated feature film. He and his team of nine animators got together for a meeting in early 1935 and discussed ideas. They finally settled on two stories in particular: the story of Snow White, and a movie based on Felix Salton's novel A Life in the Forest--later to be known as "Bambi".

Production began immediately on "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs", and in a remarkable amount of time, the film was completely finished within just under three years. Snow White became the
