It's not just fansites, I've seen a number of YouTube videos going down and even their up-loaders pages. Then there are copyright reasons.
Heck if they put all 65 episodes on DVD and on other Regions I'd not complain.

Or on digital download / video-on-demand!!!
(Itunes, Netflix, Youtube, Amazon, etc...or their own video-on-demand service!)

It would be MUCH better because even if one day they release the next DVD or a full set, it will be limited in quantity and difficult to find.

And a bothor too me (and probably you) as it'll only in Region 1 like what they already have with the others.

Yes, though you can play them with VLC on any computer, but it's still very annoying.
Seriously, I think having them available for everyone on the web would be a huge success considering they're still popular for 20 years-old shows that never got any kind of advertisement during the last 15 years.

Yeah, it's sad to see that pretty much ALL TS fan sites are gone :( then again I think pretty much all of them are gone because they were made with those free make-your-own-website generators, and I don't think those were intended to last very long. One of the few still-standing Talespin sites I visit is the Talespin Scourcepage; it's a really good site, but sadly it sometimes goes offline randomly. It's quite sad when you think of what a great fanbase the show had in the early 2000's, but then that just plummeted when the original fans grew up and moved on with their lives.

That's extremely sad, and I discovered this show at last in 2011!

Same thing with me, I found out about the show in 2009, and by then most of the sites and fans had moved on.
But, it USED to be very popular, so I have hopes that whenever Disney brings back the show, even if it's only re-runs, many people may come back!
In any case, I intend to keep *this* site alive as long as I can!

If the AS Talespin site went down what would you guys do?
I'm not saying it would since I know steet wouldn't let it.

It's not hard to understand why this is happening.
There's been nothing new related to TaleSpin in years, and the show hasn't aired since 2008 in the USA (and even more in most countries) The last DVD release was also in 2007.
So, starting from 2008, the interest for TaleSpin has gone down.

BUT BUT BUT, that doesn't mean people don't like the show!
And I think we had a recent proof of that : TaleSpin got nearly 100 000 likes in one day, on the Facebook page I made a news about!!!
If Disney made the effort to either :

- release the missing episodes on DVD (and a complete box set),
- release the episodes in a digital way (Itunes, Amazon, Netflix etc...)
- re-air the show on a channel with a lot of audience (RIP Toon Disney, but maybe they could air it on Disney Channel, Disney XD or Junior)
- make new TaleSpin comics! (currently it may actually be the most probable!)

Then rest assured that new sites/blogs/Facebook pages... talking about TaleSpin would pop up on the web :)

Something on the list is bound to happen one day, isn't it?!
