Ever since I'm part of the TaleSpin fan community, I had a pretty exhaustive list of the TS fansites around on the web.

And I have noticed that recently, at least two fansites have vanished from the web...(or at least, are not accessible anymore) :

- TaleSpin Headquarters (http://www.talespinhq.com), one of the most complete and updated TS site ever seen

- Talespin.co.uk (http://www.talespin.co.uk), was simple but nice one.

It saddens me that no one seems to care about it, at least not enough to even report it

I also thought that the best TS site for comics and goodies (The TaleSpin tribute, on "Pretty Side of Pain") had vanished too, but it seems to have moved to another location :

That's really unfortunate to see all the talespin sites go down. But that just makes what you and the other contributors are doing even more important for talespin source and the fans around the globe.

That's an idea, in fact there's one site that went down last year (The Iron Vulture, if I recall well) that allowed me to merge content but I think there are still some things I haven't posted yet. I will have to...

I guess interest in the show just dwindled for a long while

I grabbed this from www.sullivanet.com/pirateisland *23 May 2005: In case the fact that I haven't updated more than once in a year and a half hadn't tipped you off...this site is more or less retired now. My fanfic series has run to a natural conclusion, and my muses have long since moved on to other things. I'm leaving the site up for archival purposes, but I no longer consider it active.
Today I weeded out a bunch of dead links and took down some of the oldest art. Nothing major. Clear skies, and thanks for visiting*

In my opinion? ...this site IS the Creme de' Crem of Tailspin Info. I've been visiting this site for years:) Why I haven't started my own Tailspin-Site? ...honestly? --I haven't a clue how-to<:)LOL!
BUT? --for those who are interested, I would say THIS would be a promising place to start;)

I like Pirate Island pretty much, though as mentioned, it's not active and updated since a long time.
Hey, if you're interested in doing a TaleSpin site, why not helping here? I'm looking for people to contribute on the site (articles, news, etc...)

Ironically, her Drama - Queenie fanfics still exist and other good Talespin Websites went down. F**k

Having the character voices would have been useful for me if I was better at spriting. Kind of a shame that those are gone.

Especially of Mad Dog's ones from YouTube, which disappeared - THNX god I've gotta the audio version of it

You wouldn't happen to have audio any of Rebecca, by any chance? I'm also hoping to get Molly saying "I'm Danger Woman!" and Baloo saying "I hope they're hungry." I'm also hoping to get a frying pan conk sound. (Like Molly's hitting someone with a frying pan). I'm wanting to try turning Rebecca Cunningham into a M.U.G.E.N. fighter.

There's also a FB site for TS fans that was set up this July. OF course, I'm taking a break from FB now, LOL, but I'll be sure to like it when I reconnect

It's not just fansites, I've seen a number of YouTube videos going down and even their up-loaders pages. Then there are copyright reasons.
Heck if they put all 65 episodes on DVD and on other Regions I'd not complain.
