It was edited all right. In particular, the scene in which Chip found his trademark fedora in that bucket (probably used to be human-size, but shrunk in the water) was cut out. It is still in the comic, though.

Yeah, I know some parts of Plunder & Lightning are still in the comic (I think Becky's "Home Is Where The Heart Is" song is in the comics, but completly cut in syndicated/DVD version)

I would believe that less content has been cut from the Rescue Rangers pilot, considering it was 5-part. Plunder & Lightning was literrally butchered (more than 100 cuts) to fit into 4 parts. (even though they included some additional scenes in the 4-part syndicated version)

Yeah, they removed it :sobs: Fortunately the direct download links still work, or we would have no way to see Plunder and Lightning in its full glory!
