I don't know if I would label this as a "bug", but it's annoying. When a user changes their avatar, it takes a very long time, over an hour, for it to update in the shoutbox. It really isn't that big of a deal, but it would be nice if it updated within a fair amount of time.

I believe this depends on your browser. Because it's still the same filename, it doesn't always notice the picture has changed.
Maybe I could do something like changing the filename, I'll look into it someday.

I can't speak for others (I'm not the only person who has this problem) since I don't know what browser they use, but I'm using Google Chrome. I know logging out and back in used to work, however that's not the case now. The last time I changed my avatar, it took my avatar at least three hours (I wasn't in the shoutbox for three hours strait) to update in the shoutbox.

I'm getting this error when trying to upload

" Impossible to save the picture! - sites_content/balto/upload/fanart/snowdog0_/snowdog0_918p.jpg - jpg "


+ The picture is NOT over the size limit
+It's in png format, I always use this format to upload
+the picture is not open in any other program i.e running in the background, or on the painting program (if that makes sense?)

What I've tried:

+ I've tried uploading in Firefox and Google Chrome and I'm getting the same error
+ I've tried clearing cache, data and cookies
+I've tried logging in and logging out


I'm not sure how to fix this? Any insight would be appreciated.

If it's png but the flename says it's jpg - it may be the wrong name of the picture. Irfan View correts this error automaticaly when you open the image in it.

This error came up when I was uploading a shoutbox background to the Secret Of NIMH Source: Warning: chmod(): Operation not permitted in /home/bretonf/animationsource.org/engine/func_main.php on line 5180

When I went to view a comment on a video on Minions Source, I get an error that the page doesn't exist. I'm not the only one having that problem.

Is that so? Now that I've brought it up again, HOPEFULLY Steet sees this report and corrects it. It's a bit of a pain to have to go around John Robin's barn to view a comment left on a video.

I have three bugs to report; two been annoying me for a while, and the other just came up.

One: On my profile I often post a teaser from one of my books. For some reason, within that teaser, all the quotation marks get changed to question marks. None of the other text in my profile seems to have this problem, and it still shows up normally in the text editor.

Two: My fanfic (or mini-fanfic, if you will), Balto's Treasure Island Part Three, appears as a solid wall of text. Again, it looks normal in the text editor and I have no idea what is causing the bug. Here is the URL in case it's needed: /balto/en ... =0&nsite=1

Three: For some reason, any time I'm on certain pages for too long (I don't know the exact length if there is one, but it seems to be a minute or less), I get rerouted to this non-existent page: /eyeblast ... eyeV2.html
So far I've encountered this on fan fiction, here on the forums, and any time I try to send a PM. Needless to say, it's getting on my nerves. Can anyone do something about it?

Update: It's happening with art too, but no one else has it.

Unless Steet changed how the question section works, it appears that guests are able to ask questions (they can't leave comments, so they shouldn't be able to ask questions). I'm bringing this up as a bug because there's a guest that keeps asking pointless questions on the AS hub.

Whenever I click on my blocking options, only BaltoSeppala (who wasn't online) shows up as someone I can block. Why that is I don't know. I thought the blocking feature was suppose to bring up a list of current users in the the shoutbox... Refreshing the page also doesn't help.

Thaaat's...unsettling.

I'd certainly love to hear the excuse for this one (not from you, M. Thank you, actually, for bringing this up).
