Robin nodded once and with the snap of his fingers one of his men came through the door, holding two swords. "Mine, not a drop of blood on it." He said, turning it over and over in his hands. He reached for the other swords, "Yours, my blood covers it." He said and glared back, tossing them on the table.

Alex took both swords in her hands. "neither of these are mine." she said. Se knew the weight of her sword and it currently hung at her side, thanks to Eomer, who had returned it.

Robin smirked, firguring she'd deny having one. "All of my brandished swords have an ingraving. This one, yours, doesn't yeild my mark on it." He said, jabbing in down into the wodd. The king used a steady hand to ease Robin down into the chair next to him. David only sat there, his throat feeling dry and cracked.

Alex crossed her arms, "dont play stupid. Naturally, my sword doesn't has your mark on it. Tell me something I dont know, but I'm a knight of the western kingdom, and so, my sword was crafted by our kingdom's royal smith. But, I asked him to put the mark normally put on it, the crown and shield, of the knight, and the lioness, the female knight symbol." she pulled out her own sword and the other, this one doesn't have it, mine does, which is right here, completely fine, thanks to commander Eomer." she said and sheathed her own sword again, setting the bloody one on he table.

Robin nodded, "Yes, but David on the other hand." He said and turned his attention to the young boy. David looked up at glared back at him. Robin tossed David the sword, "Is this or is this not your sword?" He said and folded his arms tight across his chest. David turned the sword over and over again in disbelief, "Yes.. It is my sword." He said, looking at the mark he had made when the metal was still hot and still could be molded into a desired ingravement. David sat the sword down.

Alex crosses her arms, "well that doesn't prove anything. David was on the ground the whole time. He got shot and was on the ground, like I said, then we were overun by soldiers. After that I blacked out." she said.

Robin was very quick witted and always had a come-back to anything, "If he was on the ground, injured as what you had said, how did my blood begin on his sword. I can assure you miss, these wounds aren't self inflicted. And if they are, as you believe, why would I try to kill myself? Makes no sense? Because they're not self inflicted." He said and smirked. The king nodded, that made sense.

Alex crossed her arms, "All I see is bandages, no blood or gore, you don't act like you're hurt, and believe me, I've seen enough pain to know when someone's acting." she said, remaining where she was determined to get to the bottom of this.

Robin glared back, "I can unbandage and show the wounds, maybe even toss a little blood your way how does that sound?" He said with a snarl, his father stood up demanding Robin take a seat and watch his tone. That he did and things began going a bit smoother from there. Robin folded his arms and took a slow breath.

Alex crossed her arms, "that sounds fantastic." she said, shaking her head. She looked at the table, eyes narrowed, annoyed.

Robin smirked, looking at his father. "If I'm no longer needed I'll be heading home." He said, about to stand up. His arm hit against the table and he made a scene out of it. Gripping his arm and grunted, he mumbled a few words before limping back out of the room and into a chariot that awaited him outside. The king looked forward at Felix, thinking about his next move.

Lady Amelia glared after Robin. She swore to herself silently then that she'd get him back for that one, one way or another. She looked at the king, waiting for his final word.

The king wasn't like his wife. He was more relaxed. "Well Felix, I guess what's done is done now and I shall be on my way back to my kingdom. I bid thee farewell and a goodnight." He said before standing up and walking out of the room with a couple of his guards on his heels. He never went anywhere without his guards there to protect him. As soon as he got through the door David stood up and walked up to his room quietly, not saying goodnight to anyone. He needed a desperate rest.

Felix nodded, "You know... I always liked that guy." he said, turning and smiling at Alex. "Well, I'll be off. Goodnight, my lady knight. And I hope my wife wasn't too harsh." he stood and strode out of the room, leaving Alex alone.

Alex sat there for a moment, before getting up, sighing. 'Finally' she thought and strode for the door, walking back towards the Inn.

Anna was meanwhile awake and reading a book, she had fallen asleep in the kitchen on the floor but a guard had carried her to her room but was awake now. She sighed, watching as the black ink on the pages began to seem too much of that as just black smudge. She couldn't believe how she had acted before, so hostile. She sighed, still a bit dizzy from the overdose of wine.
