Felix sighed, walking towards his and Anna's room. He wasn't exactly looking forward to seeing her, seeing as she'd been in such a bad mood when she'd stormed off and the fact that he had acted ashamed... and felt kinda bad, seeing as he didn't blame her for fighting the other queen, it was just the way she'd done it that annoyed him a bit. He pushed open the door, seeing her reading on the bed.

Anna dare not break her gaze on the book. She knew who it was. Thinking of how she had embarrassed him in front of the King and Queen of the Southern Kingdom she felt bad to even let him see her like this. She took a deep and shaky breath. Anna blinked a few times and the words became more clear. It was the children's book that her mother had read to her when she was just a small child. She enjoyed the book, feeling bad that she never thought to read it to David when he was young.

Felix closed the door quietly, crossing the room back to one of the other rooms, his armory. He closed the door behind him, unbuckling his sword, he hung it with the many others that hung in the room and taking off his thin chain mail, before turning to return to Anna.

Anna sighed and shut the book when he left. She reached over and grabbed a glass from a counter. She had never used that glass before and she wanted to know why her parents had hidden it for so long. She wiped it off and reached below the bed, grabbing a bottle of wine and pouring some in a glass. She took a small sip, trying to ease the stress.

Felix stepped back in, yawning and running a hand through his hair. He took off his boots and set them by the door before picking up his own book, sitting next to her in silence.

Anna took a bigger sip before finally feeling a bit of diziness coming back on. She set the glass down and looked out the window, having thoughts about walking over and sititng on the sil like how she did the night that she had escaped and was caught by Felix. She looked around the room, feeling as though she needed to do something. She grabbed the glass again and took a bigger swallow, laying her head against the pillow and sighing. She yawned and looked at her fingers. Opening and closing her hand with a slight grin. She found amusement in it.

Felix opened his book and then closed it again, knowing that he had to say something. "So, why was our son in the southern kingdom exactly... in the first place?" he asked.

Alex got back to the Inn and went to the room she'd paid for, ordering a mug of mead to be sent to it, she got ready to sleep.

Anna jumped at the sound of his voice, her smile going away and she grew very very still. "Umm. He was um.." She thought for a moment. "Uh, fighting and he got captured." She said, looking around. She sounded pathetic. But she was half out of anyway. She rolled over.

Felix nodded, noting his wife's obvious drunkenness. He placed a gentle hand on her shoulder, "I'm proud of you, you know that. That Queen is the most annoying creature.... and you shouldn't have taken it so hard. I'm sorry I spoke harshly to you..." he said.

Anna nodded with a slight smile, she flipped onto her back and smiled with a giggle slipping from her mouth. She looked over before rolled back over to face him. She put her arm around his abdomine and snuggled up close to him. Anna truely did love him with all her heart.

Felix smiled at her, "and on the subject of that queen, you totally had her beat." he whispered with a chuckle and grinned at her.

Alex went to her door when the glass of mead was delivered. She took a sip and sat back on her bed with a sigh.

Anna laughed and nodded, "I wonder why the guards stopped me. I was just about to string her up." She said with a huge smile. She looked up at Felix and smiled at him. He was still just as handsome, a little blurry and all. She took a deep breath.

Felix smiled at her before reaching over and blowing out the lantern. "What do you say, we turn in for the night?"

Alex sighed, her mind turning to the incident with Robin. She shook her head. She'd get the bratty prince for all of this. He'd made her fail her duty as guard and it made her angry.

Anna nodded and snuggled a bit closer. She used one arm to grab the blanket and pull it over her shoulder to help block the cold chill of the outside wind. She looked over at the window and smiled some, shutting her eyes and drifting into a light sleep.

Felix smiled, getting up quietly, closing the window, before striping into just his breeches before climbing back under the covers, blowing out his lantern and wrapping his hands lightly around her and closing his eyes.
