"...Hi." Marshall shook paws with Moki, then turned back to Cheyanne, with guilt in his eyes. "Murr left because of me, didn't he?"

Cheyanne tried so hard say no. "No." she finally said. "He left because he knew that you wanted to ask me out. He likes me a lot. That's all I got from our conversation, and he was afraid that I would say yes. Now I don't know what to do." Cheyanne looked at her phone. Still no text from Murr. Cheyanne had texted him while on her way to meet Moki.


Moki smiled at Marshall. "Well, it was nice to meet you. Want to come down to her riverside and skip rocks with us?"

Marshall didn't buy Cheyanne's "no". But he nodded and stood up anyway. Marshall looked to Cheyanne.

"Don't worry about Murr. I'm gonna go by his place later and talk to him."

That said, he looked to Moki next and nodded, smiling at her.

"Sure, I'll come." he said.

Cheyanne slapped her forehead. ***** it..... The worst excuse I could've come up with she thought. She followed Moki and Marshall back to the river.


Murr sat on his couch, drinking a Budweiser and watching football. Maybe alcohol will take my mind off her he thought.

After skipping rocks at the river with Cheyanne and Moki for a while, Marshall drove over to Murr's place and knocked on the front door.

Murr almost didn't answer the door but he figured he might as well. "Marshall? C'mon in. Would you like a beer?"

"He's cute, huh Cheyanne." Moki asked. "Yeah. He is. But what irritates me is that he and Murr both like me."
"Why is that such a problem? Who do pick if you had to pick one?" Moki asked, walking alongside Cheyanne. "I guess I'd pick Murr. But then again, what about Marshall. I can't have both of them. " Cheyanne sighed, looking back at Moki who had a concerned look."Which one do you like better?" asked Moki. "I love them just the same. A lot. Which sucks, because if I pick one than the other one will either be mad or never want to see me again."

Moki nodded. "Hey, is it cool that I crash at your place." she added, still looking beyond her. "Sure. Do you gas in your car? You might need it." Cheyanne answered. "Yeah, but I walked here. All six and a half miles." Moki laughed, " so is it cool that I get a ride home with ya? I don't have to have any clothes. I took a shower before I came down here." Cheyanne nodded in response and pulled her keys out. She climbed in her white for truck and started the engine. Moki smiled and jumped in the passenger side. "Shotgun." she smiled. "Well I sure as hell wasn't gonna let you drive..." Cheyanne laughed.

"No, that's ok." Marshall answered, stepping inside and joining Murr on the couch. "Don't really care for beer too much. Got any wine?"

He shook his head 'no' in response. "All I have is water and seven-up. And a six pack a Bud. So, what brings you around?"

No, I haven't, but I'll go check it out now. (: Also, I replied to Nava's Rival Pack on the next page. Also ALSO, I lost the game.

"Ice water then, if that's ok." Marshall said.

How do I go about this? I don't wanna bring it up point blank, he was pretty upset. But then again, he has been drinking...

"Oh, I just came to check on ya. Ya left in a hurry, dinner hadn't even started yet." Marshall figured he'd let Murr bring it up on his own, and not to push him. "Somethin' botherin' ya, bro?"

LOL He's only had one beer. And hadn't even finished THAT one... LOL Also, Marshy, Thanks for losing the game.



Murr nodded and stood. Placing the beer on a coaster and walking to the kitchen. He pulled out a glass and filled it with water. "Not really. I just..... I like Cheyanne a lot. But that's totally okay.. If you want her, have her." he tried his best to happy and not disappointed.

Ugh, you know what? It's clear that you're not going to stop calling me Marshy, so I'll make a deal with you. I'll let you call me Marshy, but ONLY YOU can call me that. Deal? Don't go tellin' anyone, ok? (:

"Dude, Murr. If I had known you liked her, I would not have done all that in front of you like that. I had no idea, and I'm sorry." Marshall said, apologetically.

When Murr came back and gave Marshall his water, he sat back on the couch, Marshall put his paw on Murr's shoulder.

"If me being with her hurts you that much, then I don't know if I can be with her, Murr. I like Cheyanne too, more than you know. But I don't want to do this to you."

LOL I promise I won't go tellin'.


Murray sighed. "What scares me the most is, who will she pick?" He asked, getting a glass of water himself..


Cheyanne parked the truck under the shed and pulled the key out. "We're here. Home sweet home."

"I don't know, Murr. I really don't know." Marshall scratched the back of his neck. "But whoever she picks is up to her. It's her choice, and we should respect her choices."

"We'll let her decide on her own." Marshall gave Murr a smile and fist-bumped his shoulder. "For now, let's just chill and hang out. Let's order some pizza, I'll buy."
