Have you ever wanted to know more about the characters in my Toby series, like what Luna likes best about Toby, what Charlie's life was like before he had a dog, or why Loki was such a nightmare in the house? Now you can ask them yourselves (sorta)! Just type in your question, and the character will answer it for you! Or, if you want to ask me something directly, you can do that too.

Here's one for Toby about the end of Part Eight: WHAT IN THE WORLD ARE YOU THINKING?! THERE'S GOT TO BE SOMETHING YOU CAN DO!

Toby: Believe me, there's nothing I can do at this point. It would take a miracle just to get us out of this wilderness alive, much less capture the criminal we're after.

To Toby and Luna: What do you like best about each other?

Toby: Well, I think what I like best about Luna is that she's tough and loves to have fun, but she knows when to sit back and take things seriously too. She's well-balanced, and has the looks of a showdog without the empty head to match. Plus, she's related to Balto, which is pretty cool.
Luna: I like Toby because he doesn't care that I'm related to Steele, and he liked me even before he knew that his hero was my Grandpa. He cares about who I am, not who my relatives are. Also, I never have to compete for him because I'm the only girl besides his mother who's willing to put up with him.
Toby: Oh, ha ha. Did I mention her sense of humor? No? Good.

Like I said, I wanted to keep her safe. The woods are dangerous, and I... well, I didn't want anything to happen to her. Her tracks have been mistaken for wolf tracks in the past, and if the hunter spotted and followed her trail, he might not bother to realize she was a dog. Besides, if word got around that we had gone off into the wilderness together, we would never live it down when we got back. I couldn't risk disgracing her like that.

Luna, do you remember the time that you got amnesia? If so, was it frustrating to be told so manyy stories and not know which one was the truth? And, do you have your memory completly back yet?

For both Toby and Luna: What would be your favorite adventure out of all the ones you've had? What would've been the worst?, although I could already guess...

Luna: That's kind of a tough call. I really like "Uh-Oh Romeo," because even though it was a real nightmare when it happened, it's a great memory. And I really enjoyed our first date (Date with Disaster) because even though everything kept going wrong..."
(Toby and Luna glare at Pete)
Luna:...it turned out great anyway. And even if that time while he was on the sled team in "Doom or Destiny," was a nightmare for both of us, it was a relief to finally see him find a place where he really belonged. But I'd have to say I liked "Wilderness Hunt" the best- at least the second half (which is now up)- because it's good to know that Toby really cares about me, even if he can be a real pain in the neck about it sometimes. And the last part... well, I'll leave it at that.
Toby: As for me, I think I liked "Date With Disaster" a lot too. But I agree with Luna that the second part of "Wilderness Hunt" was the finest hour for both of us. It's nice to know that Luna is so determined to do what's right, even if she doesn't know the meaning of "stay." (looks pointedly at Luna for a tense moment)
Pete: (smugly) I bet I know what your worst one was...
Toby and Luna: Stuff it, Pete.
Luna: (shuddering) I can't believe I actually went out with him once. That has got to be my worst experience ever.
Toby: I think mine was the first half of "Wilderness Hunt." I was a real jerk in that one, especially to Luna. Not only did I almost lose Luna, like in "Broken Memories," but I almost lost myself and my life.

Luna: I remember it alright. My head still hurts just thinking about it. It was a nightmare not knowing what to believe, and it's even worse when I remember the way I thought about and treated the ones who really care about me while it was going on. I have my whole memory back now, although I really wish I didn't remember that incident. Thanks for asking.

For both Toby and Luna: You guys are going out right well what's next for you guys

Luna: More adventures, of course! (between her teeth) Not that I'd mind...
Toby: Luna, is this really the right place for that? But since you brought it up, Rangerwolf, I'll be honest; we've both been thinking about it. Just read our latest story and see for yourself.

Toby and Luna, did you guys know right away that you had a strong friendship when you first met?

Toby: Well, I wasn't so crazy about her at first. At that age, I didn't think much about girls. Except for the time I made my sisters scream by showing them a dead rat.
Luna: Sure they weren't looking at you instead of the rat?
Toby: Very funny. Anyway, I knew that Luna was different because she didn't run off crying when I crashed into her skull like that. So yeah, I guess I kind of knew she was okay- for a girl.
Luna: Uh-huh, you know it.
Toby: (rolls his eyes) Anyway, I guess that I knew we could be friends, especially since she seemed to know as much about Balto as I did. But I really never would have guessed just how strong our friendship would be until it got to the hospital. And if someone had told me that she was going to be my girlfriend one day, I probably would have busted my gut laughing.
Luna: Same here, especially on that last part. The way he came to see me in the hospital all the time was the first clue I had that there was some reality to his heroic daydreams, which kinda drew me to him. Anyone else I would have been mad at, but when I saw how sorry he was I couldn't stay mad. And when he stood by me even after he knew about my connection to Steele, I knew I had a friend for life. It's been really neat getting to know him and seeing different sides of him as time goes on. That's the best thing about a friend like Toby.

Thanks guys and one last question any chance we'll see you two having pups or not?
