True that.

And that is indeed another thing. She is shown to be more than just a teasing romantic interest for Boris. She has a serious, perhaps even borderline heroic side.

Fair enough, I suppose. I just can't help thinking that there was so much they did wrong with Stella that it kind of came across as just... wrong. Admittedly I'm not sure what I would have done in the place of the writers, but I think if Stella had been just a bit less of a hussy (using the milder definition, granted) and a bit more useful, maybe I would have found her a more appealing character.

The fact is, there's nothing inappropriate about her character or build. Granted, real geese don't have a pronounced breast area like Stella does, but even Boris has a similar build. No one ever complains about him, just Stella. lol But I suppose the difference boils down to gender.

As for her personality and behavior, I really don't see any issues that would deem her as inappropriate. And If I recall, BaltoSeppala once mentioned that Stella's character was likely designed to reflect Mae West, an American actress in that time period. I would link it here, though I don't remember where that topic is.

I kinda wish they would have made Stella a more wholesome character, however, her presence didnt get on my nerves all that much

In my defense, I did specify the milder definition of "hussy," and I would have to say that Stella was indeed "a saucy and mischievous girl."

However, I concede that perhaps in light of its usual implication, "hussy" might have been a little on the strong side for my point. One can't fault her - or any other character - for all the misuses made of screenshots involving her, although I dare say she walked into more of those than most I've seen.

I still think that they could have done better, particularly in terms of making Boris an interesting character.

Well, what i can say, the third movie is ok i guess. Much better than the 2nd one.. While i did like the story overall in Balto 2, i don't think that should be called a sequel. I dunno, it just feels rubbish to me. Balto 3 was so much better, and it brought back what Balto franchise is known for, the sled dog teams and that stuff like in the first movie. But on a different note, Balto 3 also feels a little....childish..i mean no offence but the dogs vs airplane thingy is just....plain wrong. I mean, if you go by that logic a few dogs could NEVER beat an airplane. And this is just pure fantasy if you ask me. (and yes, i know it's just a movie for kids but still... ) IMO, Balto 3 was a preety good movie, better than Wolf Quest for sure, but still childish though. If those weren't cheap sequels and the budget at the time could be a little bigger im sure they would deliver something more simillar to original Balto.

PS: Sorry for bad english. :)
