why would they do that to a perfectlly good flim , like the lion king !

The best answer to that question, in my opinion, is that Sarabi was either never mentioned or died.

Now, in my opinion, I don't think she died, but I don't put it past the creators of TLK 2 to just drop her as a character in the sequel, since she didn't have to play any important role.
Also, supposedly the lioness that says "My, how you've grown" to Kiara was Sarafina, Nala's mom, and I don't think Sarabi was much older than her, so if Sarafina is still alive, lively Sarabi is.
She maybe one of the lionesses in the back, as the lionesses that supposedly is Sarafina looks nothing like the Sarafina from the first movie.

All in all, it will never be completely clear what happened to Sarabi in the second movie, as the creators decided not to mention her at all; so I guess it's up to free interpretation.

I always assumed that she died of old age. But whatever the case, they should've made some literal reference to her existence or non-existence in the film. They can't just have an essential character disappear like this without causing a stupid plot hole. Even though Sarabi wasn't a main characrer in the original, she was essential and very much in spotlight. But this has never really bothered me because Sarabi really isn't essential to the sequel's own story and it is very easy and believable to assume she died of old age.

You what know what I think Simba proably exiled her because she proably still though there was good in the the outlanders and Simba in the I must walk in father pawprints mode know she thought that and was proably "well if you think there good go join them"

Once simba came back to the pride, Sarabi looked and sounded like she was old and in bad shape. So she probably passed because of illness or old age. Scar can do that to a person.

Before TLK2, Sarabi's voice actor died. Disney wanna bring her back in the movie, but that was impossible. They never found a voice like her...

Yeah...I heard it when i'm in Disneyland and i was in a shop when i see some drawers that i recognice from the lion king behind the scenes. So i talked to them and then i heard...
But it's weird. Simba cub's voice actor was older too, but still they can find somebody else for singing that Zazu song thing...Why they can't find somebody else for Sarabi?

Well if you look closely in "The Lion King II: Simba's Pride" when Simba comes to find Kiara with Kovu when they are cubs, the two lionesses on Simba's right are Sarabi and Sarafina and to the left, Nala and then later when that lioness says "My, how you've grown." that was suppose to be Sarabi but with the whole her voice actor dying and everything it didn't sound like her. Therefore Sarabi and Sarafina were in "The Lion King II: Simba's Pride" but were not officially introduced.
