I dont remeber, really wanting to see it when it came out, but about a year or so ago i saw the tape at my local vidio store, going really cheap. with a surge of impulse, i watched it and loved every minute of it! i honestly think its the best animated film ever, next to the original.

I loved the Lion king 2, not as much as the first one but hey!
Anywho, what I thought was:

The Lion king 2 was just like the first one but in a different story line, different characters and so on.
Look at it this way:

All the animals come to pride rock to see the newborn in the morning with "he lives in you".
Simba spends time with his Daughter, telling her she will be queen, as Mufasa to Simba.
Kiara, disobeyed Simba and got introuble in Kovu and Zira, just like Simba running off to the outlands.
Zira is Scar and she trains the young kovu to kill Simba just like the hyena's with Mufasa and Simba.
Two Lions die like Mufasa and Scar, which are Zira and her son Nuka.
In the end they have a fight like Scar and Simba and Zira drowns like Scar died.
In the end they are all happy and they finish off standing on pride rock with "circle of life"

Is it just me or did anyone notice this?
But ya all in all its good!

When i 1st watched it, i loved it...

then i watched it again about a month ago and it hit an emotion cord with i cant rly explane.

I loved Kiara and Kovu, and iv watched it another 5 times after that.

it is now one of my my fav films

i realy loved the film, the songs were great and not just random junk shoved together.however i didnt like kiara at all she realy anooyed me ..like aleu lol i thought the charecter zira was good and i loved vitani at first i thought she was a boy tho lol... i was only 8 when i firstwatched it . i watched it yesterday ... as well (15 now)

I liked it....it was a worthy sequel..

I thought it was an amazing movie. My only regret was that it didn't get a bigger budget, because the movie "could" have rivaled the popularity of the first Lion King in theaters.

Everything was well done. They gave Kiara many of Simba's mannerisms as a cub. After the rough childhood Simba had, who could blame him for being as protective as he is. Everything just synchronized well between the films, give or take some changes they made and it wasn't hard to logically fill in blanks(Zira having her own pride for one.)

I loved it! It has to be one of the best sequals ever ^^ This along wth Lady and the tramp 2, thats was also an amazing sequal

It was "ROAR"ingly awesome and cool.

It was preety good.
