If you think about it the moral of all TLK films(maybe not the 3rd) are about running families, love and relationship this really gives young kids an ider for the big life ahead of them. Its great even in ways that you dont notice!

Oh, I loved that movie. I just LOVED it. I still do, and I actually like it more than the first one. Probably because I don't like Simba that much. I loved the plot, and the chracters in general. it also showed that girls can be good villians too! ^^ My favourite characters, in no order, are Kovu, Zira, Vitani and Kiara.

I liked it; it wasn't as good as the original (few movies ever are) but it was still a decent production.

Totally agreed. And the third also talks about family, love and relationship too. But its only about Timon and Pumbaa.

Thats what gets me kind of depressed when i watch any TLK movie, i ask myself if i'll ever have to chance to have a family and all, well... This is offtopic xD

I really liked the movie, maybe in my opinion its better than the first, but i'm not sure yet. I like kovu and kiara. I think that kiara got a nice personality and kovu the fact that he never was evil, he was just following the orders of his mother.

And Nuka, oh Nuka. He shouldn't have died, am i the only who feels bad for him ? All he wanted was some attention from his mother.

It's about second best I've ever seen. The Rescuers Down Under was a better movie (heck I think it might have been better than the original Rescuers) but TLK 2 was certainly one of the better sequels.

Although I really can't say for certain since it was a while ago, I probably felt about then as I do now.
That it was a decent sequel to a classic film (which isn't very common sadly).
The new characters where great, and I just loved Kovu! ^^

Good plot, and it JUST hit me how ironic they ripped off Shaekspeare with the first and now second movies... I shall explain:
1st movie: Hamlet vs. TLK - Uncle kills king. Angry son gets revenge. (Lion King obviously has better ending on that one)
2nd movie: Romeo and Juliet vs. TLK: Simba's Pride - ...do I have to explain? I think everyone knows it. Two families hate each other... love brings two young hearts together thus uniting the fueding families... blah blah TLK takes the award for happy ending.
I can't say if that's a bad thing or not the similarities, for I like the movies too much to say.

Ha, I wasn't thinking about that, you hit it on the head woth that one. I really was rather bored while watching this movie,so instead of finishing, I went to do other,more important things.

Is there a reason you liked Simba's Pride?

To be honest, the very first time I watched SP I HATED it.

However, I have grown to like it. I`ve fallen in love with the music and certain characters.. And I have to admit, Simba`s Pride is the best Disney sequel ever. It will never compare to TLK, but it`s still a great movie.

How did I not notice this sooner?

Anyways, I must agree. Though keep in mind they made the sequel to The Rescuers waaaaaaaaaaaaay back when they still had good writers.
Now adays... I don't even know where they're getting these people.
