I see what you are saying, that she is Sarabi, and queen, and very important. But I was saying that if she wasn't in the movie... like if Mufasa was just a single Dad, I don't think the movie would have lost it's meaning. But again, I am sure the creators of the movie put everybody in there for a reason.

^ Not having Sarabi in it would raise to many questions. Like what happened to her making Mufasa a single parent in the first place.
And Scar abusing her when Simba came back to PrideRock was the perfect trigger to set him off. So I think she was important.

I didn't think about how Scar was abusing her when Simba came back to Pride Rock. You are right, it did set him off. She was important! Thanks for pointing that out, I didn't think of that!

Zazu. I think that he's just really annoying xD There should be Mheetu instead of him xD

Zazu is kinda annoying at times, but I don't think he should've been out of the film. Maybe the steward could've been a big strong lion. Yes, it would've been cool to have Mheetu in the movies.

Exactly, who would've saved Simba? No one. He would've been a nice snack for the vultures surrounding him. They could've done it without Pumbaa, maybe.

^ Pumbaa was the brawn. He was needed the most outta the two. He was also the brain, but didn't know how to enforce it. Which is where Timon comes into play.

And about Zazu... he was needed as well in my opinion. He was quick and agile being a bird finding news and sharing it to the king.
Such as telling Mufasa his cub was about to be devoured by hyenas. 8B

He is pretty annoying.

I think that everyone in the movie had their place. I don't like when people try to think about what characters the film could do without, because to be honest, each character's role is significant in the storyline.

I think people are confusing their dislike for a character, with who could be removed without effecting the story.

Zazu, it was a movie on royalty, so the suck-up to them in power, is like a requirement for any movie. Plus laughing at a know-it-all is comedy gold-- see Frasier (TV show)
Nala's mother, she adds a bit of a background to Nala, and also shows that the pride interact with each other, I think the pride would seem flat without her.
And Timon/ Pumba?? I get they annoy people, but they are major in the movie, with them saving Simba, etc.

If Pumba was real I wouldn't like him alot.

What does that mean? You wouldn't like him a lot or you would? Pumbaa wasn't that bad of a character.
