Hi, just thought I'd ask you guys,

What character do you guys think shouldn't have been in the lion king.

I'd say Ed cause he's just a slobbery mangy stupid poacher! What about you?

I think Timon cause he's just annoying, know-it-all little rat

I enjoyed all the characters, personally. There really didn't seem to be any completely worthless ones - they all served a purpose one way or another. (ESPECIALLY Timon and Pumba, whom Simba would have died without).

I can't think of a single character that I thought was worthless and not needed, or that I was annoyed with or just didn't like enough to not want in it.

Hehe, the hyenas were my favorite characters [and Mufasa] actually, so I definitely wouldn't want them not in it! 8]

I have to agree, none of the characters were useless.

I see nothing wrong with any of the characters. They are all good. Ed was useful, he was suppost to make the Audience Laugh. If i really had to choose to remove a character i would have to say... Actualy i can't even think of a name. So they should all be in the forum.

But in all causes. If you where to remove say a location i would say the gore. Theres not that much of locations to remove. Everything in the movie was just perfect.

I have nothing to complain about, yet.

Yeah, I guess you're right. They all are important. And, anyway, Ed's Jim Cummings, and he's great. OS, yeah, I guess if we removed one of the characters from the movie, it wouldn't make sense. I think they could have done without Zazu somehow. (He just seems annoying...but he is important) But I liked all the others.

I kind of agree with this, because all Zazu really was in the movie was a butt monkey (look to here for what I mean: http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/ButtMonkey), someone who always gets hurt and who gets tormented all played out for laughs. I mean, sure, he had his moments, but otherwise I think, if given a choice of who shouldn't have been in the movie, it would be Zazu.

However, I do agree that all the characters were very important and did play a role in the storyline for the movie.

I think the movie wouldn't have lost any meaning if Simba's mother was not in the movie... What do you guys think?

Sarabi wa the queen and was kinda important. I think they could've done it without Zazu or Sarafina

Sarafina was Nala's mother, even though she only had one line. Zazu... in a way he was important. He didn't do much, but I think they could've done without Timon and Pumbaa, though they did bring some... humor to the movie. Everyone, aside from those two, I think, was needed. They all played their parts.

Who would've saved Simba then?

Never mind. Wait a minute, why the interest on who shouldn't have been in the movie? Everyone played their parts and were supposed to be there. Even the ones we think shouldn't have been for one reason or another.
