Okay so this probably or or probably not has been on your mind a lot but will they make a Balto 4 and if so what would it be about? I've had my turn of idea's over the years but was never quite close to a good plot, at least not yet! I've seen a few links of idea's and hints. One person said on answer. com that, "Yes, well sort of. A group of hard core fans like myself are putting together their talents and money to make a Balto 4." But i have no idea when he said this and if it'll work! See if you could try to find out something on Balto 4!
IF THEY HAD A BALTO 4 THEY SHOULD POSSIBLY HAVE (At least what i think they should have):

* Kevin Bacon play as Balto again
* Have( at least to see what happened) Steele back, because, come on he was a good Bad-Guy
* Have Star, Nikki, and Kaltag back! I mean what happened to those guys?
* Have Rosey back because she was a fun character to see
* Aleu return, but not with that five year old voice
* A really smart plot
* Have Balto a wise cracking and charming character again
* and more...

I agree totally how they should make a comeback like that. However...

In my opinion, Universal did the last two movies for the money. Sure, I understand how some people liked it, but the plot was horrible and the voices weren't amazing. The first one was a lovely family movie, but the other two seemed to be for younger children.

I wish they never made the sequels. Some movies can have sequels and they can be just as good as the first, but I personally don't think it worked in this case. Or Lion King's, for that matter. For me it takes away the whole concept of why the first Balto was made.

Maybe Universal could make a fourth one, but I can't see it being done by the other two.

I remember the first time I saw the second Balto out on VHS. I was so excited and my parents bought it for me right there and then for an early Easter gift. I was so excited and couldn't wait to wake up to the sequel of my favourite movie. I absolutely loved it and watched it quite a few times. A few years later when I understood more about movies, acting, and plots, I was highly disappointed, because I knew it was just to make money.

I'd like to see Balto 4 be a family movie like the others. One thing in particular that needs to be addressed is what happened to his dad.

All three movies didn't make that much money sadly. If the first Balto made more money I bet the sequels would of been much better if the first one made money, but then again.. that probably wouldn't be true. The Balto films sure weren't that popular. It would be cool to see a Balto 4.. but that probably isn't going to happen because the lack of money the series made. Unless someone from here or somewhere else comes up with a brilliant idea and plot and put it nicely together into a movie, and it would probably be in 3D animation anyway because 2D isn't going to be around anymore except on special occasions.

The most likely way that a 4th Balto movie is going to make ANY money is if they don't even call it Balto 4. They would have to come up with their own unique name and just reference it to the Balto movies. They would make it like it's own story. With the Balto characters in it and revolves after the first movie's plot. And also.. they would have to make it seem that it wasn't even referenced off that movie to get more people to watch it. That is my idea on how they can make another movie of the balto series. And pretend that Balto 2 or 3 didn't exist. And focus it around... a different puppy or something. Like the one Question said for example. Or his dad! That is a good idea. We need to know about his dad.

That is probably going to be the best way there would be another Balto movie in the series. Calling it "Balto 4" would NOT get people interested in it. In fact calling it Balto 4 will just turn people away from the movie.

That is my guess on what is going to be the best way.

I don't think it would be wise to make it a separate storyline from the other two sequels as opposed to a continuation of them. After all, that would leave the fans of the series (who would have the most interest) confused.

As near as I can figure, the most enduring legacy Balto will have is with parents or other older relatives (uncles, aunts, and the like( who want to share it with the next generation. So the surest way to maintain a lasting legacy is to maintain a solid framework of vaues that will stand the test of time, appealing to audiences now and for generations to come. That, I think, is what makes a true classic.

The thing is, How rabbit pointed it out, They just do these so horrible..... Well, maybe not so bad sequals just to make a buck! But I was just hoping universal would have some heart to make one more....... I mean they did like 12 Sequals for

Too many loose ends to cover in a coherent storyline. Besides, a story with no dim borders, no unexplored territory, is a dull story. Why do you think J.R.R. Tolkein thought long and hard before writing beyond The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings? Why do you think C.S. Lewis stopped writing The Chronicles of Narnia when they were just about at the height of their popularity?

Seriously, this idea has been brought too many times. As nice as it would be, it will mostly likely never happen. It is somewhat disappointing considering how many ideas can are already connected to it, such as Rosie, Steele's sudden disappearance, the rest of the litter, and more. However, it seems like it just cannot happen. You can't just simply ask for a movie, you have to consider how super HARD it is to make one, despite how talented people are.

Maybe someday, but I have yet to see it happen.

No one will make a movie about your OC... Movie creators don't even know you exist.

By the way, if speaking of OCs, I think that if they made a movie about other Balto's kid, this would ruin a lot of Balto's fanbase with all those OCs
