Post your desktop backgrounds!




How to take a screenshot of your desktop:
For regular desktops;
Press the Print Screen button (Prnt Scrn) : Open Microsoft Paint : Click "Edit - Paste" : Save image.

For Macs:
CMD + SHIFT + 3: Capture the entire screen and saved to the desktop
CMD + SHIFT + 4: you select the capture area

Some tips about the second option:

Hold the space bar to move across the area to capture
Hold the ALT to move the size of the catch in proportion
Hold SHIFT and drag (or top side) to "lock" in that direction

For laptops:
Press Fn/PrtSc at the same time, then paste into Paint.

Also, UK, laptops are different than from desktops. You have to press the Fn/PrtSc keys at the same time.

Would some resizing and sharing websites be helpful too?

You can resize on Photoshop or Windows7 Paint. And in the past I used http://www.iaza.com/ .
For sharing websites you can use http://imageshack.us/ and it'll give you direct links and other options.

As you can see, I have a fair few games loaded.
The desktop pic is a speed paint I did of an exact screencap from 300 with my version above and the original image below, just for fun and practice really.

Wolf's rain desktop on my desktop computer.

I won a video card NVIDIA GeForce 5500 and it is compatible with the aero glass of windows 7

And now for my laptop.

My mom won't let me choose my desktop...sooo....


BUT if it were up to me, this would be my desktop.

Decided to use a desktop that I made.
