Yukimura is the son of Gin and Sakura, Weed and Joe's brother. 

Sakura grew ill after the birth of the three puppies and so, she gave Joe and Yukimura to another dog named Saheiji, who brought them to his home place. They got attacked by a group of macaques led by Shogun and Joe was assumed dead. Yukimura was scarred on his face for trying to protect his little brother and he was almost killed if Saheiji didn't protect him with his body. Yukimura changed from a responsable dog into wanting only revenge on the monkeys, by killing them all.

Yukimura became leader of Saheiji's pack of sixty dog and was even appreached by Hougen, who wanted them as allies but he refused. Yukimura had the goal to kill all the monkeys and he had the loyality of all the pack, since them too had relatives killed by them. The pack had techniques and tests to kill the monkeys, very cruel ones, that ended up first torturing and then killing the macaques, even babies, much to Saheiji's disapproval.

Yukimura saved Weed and other Ohu soldiers from the monkeys and realized that Weed must be his long lost brother, since he looks almost identical to Joe but he doesn't reveal this fact. They have an argument after that Jerome and Weed discover how Yukimura and his pack torture monkeys. Weed challenges him but Yukimura wins and announces he would attack Shogun and his monkeys. Weed, Saheiji and another macaque try to make him change his mind but he does only during the battle against Shogun, when he sees other monkeys fighting against Shogun's army. He attacks the giant macaque but is too confident and thinks he has killed the monkey.Shogun, who is still alive, stabs Yukimura with a stick but he is saved by Weed. Even if Jerome dragged him to safety, Yukimura pulls off the stick and gets back to the battlefield, using the battouga on Shogun who, half dead, is killed by other macaques.

Yukimura dies from his wounds and the monkeys help to bury him.
