Hello everyone,
This Fan News is mainly for those who haven't seen the updates or important comments that I've post.
So, here's the first update (June 06,2011):
Firstly, all of Animation Source's sites are now re-opened. For the moment, you can all continue to tchat and do your stuff on the sites. On another hand, note that your fanworks won't get activated until everything is proven to be safe - The mod panel is currently closed. *(June 08, 2011)* The mod panel is now re-opened. Your fanworks will now be able to get validated.
Secondly, I have the pleasure to announce you that all of the deleted accounts will gradually be restored. All of the moderators/administrators will also get their permissions back, in time.
To conclude, everything is fine and Animation Source shall be running back at full speed in a few days - Until then, we are into investigation. Steet or I will give you some other updates on the situation as soon as we get some.

just a question that came into my head: is there a secure way you can block the hacker? how strong is the saftey quarantee? (sorry if it sounds rude, i don't mean to be - i couldn't find a good way to word it)

I can't tell you, for the moment we are working on it.
The mod-panel is currently closed so no editing/deleting/moderation/administration can be done.
Thus, no ''hacking'' can practically be done while we manage to find a permanent solution. Until then and in the future, sharing personal informations should be avoided. I would also suggest that you guys change your passwords - preferably for a hard one: With letters, numbers and symbols. It makes it way more difficult to ''crack''.

What's important to remember
1- The mod panel is now re-opened since yesterday afternoon. Your fanworks will now be able to get activated.
2- In the future, sharing personal informations should be avoided. I would also suggest that you guys change your passwords - preferably for a hard one: With letters, numbers and symbols.
3- All of the moderators/administrators will gradually be getting their permissions back. For those who haven't yet, be patient.
