Jungle Book (TV Series)
The Jungle Book is a 2010 CGI television series, and is still ongoing. The series was created for The Disney Channel, but currently airs through several other outlets as well, including ABC and Fox.
The series follows Mowgli and his adventures through the jungle. Among his friends are Baloo and Bagheera, while the antagonists are Kaa and Shere Khan. The series is more adapted from the 1967 Disney film, rather than the original 1894 Kipling novel.

Anyone who has seen the Jungle Cubs series can clearly see that Kaa is
not an antagonist. (By the way, there is a literal difference between
an antagonist and a villain, but they are frequently used
interchangably.) Even Shere Khan, whose favorite passtime was bullying
Kaa as much as Biff Tannen bullied George McFly, wasn't ALL bad
himself, as shown in the episode "Nice Tiger". Kaa is really just a
sweet kid desperately trying to earn the respect he deserves, despite
the fact that he's a snake. He is also the most emotionally vulnerable
of all the characters, as shown in "A Tail of Two Tails". Having been
bullied by a few adults myself, I can understand how he feels! |
