Evanin the orignal Jungle Book why was Shere Khans role not major becuase at the beginning he did not appear he was only mentioned by Bagheera and the Wolves but when Mowgli ran away Shere Khan first appeared hunting a deer as prey but the elephants scared it off before he could pounce it and in the sequel he returned for revenge and had a bigger role that time
