"Look, there's a flying pizza!" Skip yelled. Afghanna sprung to her feet.

"Where?" she panted.

"Let's go," Fang commanded. Scamp yawned and started walking. He'd yelled at Angel, he'd made his best friend run away, he'd been woke up early. Things couldn't possibly get any worse!

"Hello, Fang!" A familiar voice said. The thing leaped in front of them. It was Huck! Looking as mean as ever!

"Hi!" Annette said cheerfully. Fang rolled his eyes at the spaniel pup. Scamp froze. His bones had turned to water and his body felt like it had shut down. And he had to admit: Things could get worse!

"What are you doing here, Big ears?" asked Fang.

"Looking for the mutt known as Scamp," the shepard answered. Scamp gulped and started backing away. Huck leaped on Scamp and pinned him to the ground. Scamp winced in pain.

"Get off!" Fang yelled as he knocked his rival off of his companion.

"What the-" Huck gasped as Fang knocked him into a tree.

"You took the words right out of my mouth!" Skip said. Rose and Collette helped Scamp to his paws and they went back to the other dogs. They watched Fang and Huck wrestle. Fang bit Huck's leg and Huck kicked the retriever in the stomach.

"Don't just stand there! HELP ME!" Fang yelled at his gang. Afghanna was the first to jump in and help. The others followed her and started fighting. Huck leaped out of the fighting crowd.

"I'll be back! He said as he ran through the trees.

"What was that all about?" Scamp asked. "And why did you help me?"

"Believe me. I have no idea!"

"I think you care," Skip smirked.

"Do not! They're house dogs!" he said out loud.

"Quit it, Fang we know you do," Annette said as she walked past Fang giggling. The others went after her. Fang rolled his eyes.
