its a fact. nala is the mother. and, if I'm correct, he got his tuft from his grandfather on his mothers side (Jasiri). if you look at jasiri, he has a tuft on his head simmilar to kopa's. So yes, nala is the mother.

maybe mufasa had the hair tuft as a cub? and kopa has brown eyes. :D

I think he has red eyes, brown hairtuft and tailtuft,light brown ear insides, golden fur, and sandy underfur.

The thing is, that, at the end of lion king 1, there's a new born baby and i'm guessing that that is kopa, but at the beggining of lion king 2, it's when there's the new born baby, THAT'S kiara! Kopa's not in the movie though for some strange reason. I bet the people who made lion king might have done an accident somewhere through out lion king one near the end lion king 2 at the beggining, so that if they told about kopa in the movie, it wouldn't make sence and they might not get stars, only a sugestion.

Well, Simba probably had kopa's tuft to, but when Simba was shown as a cub, he was younger. Yes, he could have gotten his green eyes from scar, or maybe nala.

Nala is Kopa's definite mother, but is not mentioned in the movie, but I believe is mention in SNA. Kopa looks 98.99 percent like Simba, and the other 2% like Nala. XD

What red mane? Kopa has a brown tuft, some people view it as brownish-red, but it isn't just red.

Whaaat? The last time I checked, the books' illustraions, Kopa had brown eyes just like his father and paternal grandfather.

And he didn't get his coloured paws from Nala because Nala doesn't have coloured paws.

As for the hair tuft...The books' illustrators woeked at The Walt Disney Company. While Simba had the same kind of hair tuft in early concept art of the film's production which this illustrator may have had an access to, so the illustrator may have got the idea from there and not care that Simba's design had been changed for the final movie - OR got the idea from the other outsider-made spin-offs that are the comic books which have cubs like that. So I don't think that hair tuft has much to do with any in-story anchestor, but just a random design choice to make him look more individual.

And I think he looks a bit more like Mufasa than Simba, his face isn't as "round" as Simba's and he's a bit fuzzier too.

In short: I think Kopa has all his looks-genes from his father and paternal grandfather (Mufasa).

Well, Kopa's creator has said that Kopa is Simba and Nala's son, so Nala is his real mother. And also I decide so for my personal vision because there is absolutely nothing in the books to indicate that she wouldn't be. Naturally, because she is meant to be his mother. ;D
