Personality: Aida is very sweet-tempered, a gentle soul and kind to everyone she meets. Where Obi is heart, Aida is head, she tends to do what is the most logical and the most advantageous to both her and her pride. She loves her family deeply and would do anything for them, even if she doesn't agree with them. She can be hurt very easily but, as always, she stays silent.

History:Aida was the second cub of Kamaji and Adla, born a few seasons after Obi and surprising everyone. However, a fault was soon found with the newborn princess, she didn't speak or make a sound and this continued into her cubhood and into adulthood. No one is sure whether she actually can't speak or if she chooses to remain silent.

Despite her disadvantage, Aida proved again and again that she was more than capable. She often balanced out her elder brother's more rash actions and helped to soothe tempers within the pride. She was considered a precious jewel by many and there was more than a little curiousity as to who Kamaji would pick as his daughter's mate.

It was then that fate intervened in the form of Obi breaking off his betrothal with Hiari, daughter of Malka from the Kilima Pride. Suddenly tempers were boiling and Kamaji had to scramble to salvage the situation as best he could. He had to amend his son's slight and he looked to his eldest daughter.

Soon, Aida was being sent to the Kilima Pride to be Prince Salehe's betrothed. Kamaji hoped that she would be able to take her brother's place and that it would help smooth over the situation. The Bahari and Kilima Prides would still be united but it would be by Aida and Salehe instead of Obi and Hiari.

When Aida arrived, it was to a rather frosty welcome. Malka had agreed to the match so welcomed Aida as his future daughter-in-law and a member of his family. Baka and Salehe, however, were less keen to warm up to her presence, Salehe in particular was cold with her. But Aida was determined to make the best of her situation, however hurt she felt about her bethrothed's apathy to her.
