Name: Salehe (meaning 'good')

Personality: Salehe is normally quite a reserved character, prefering to observe first and then take action only if he feels he needs to. He is very close with his family and is more open and playful around them. AS he grows older, he becomes much more responsible, particularly as he could be picked as the next leader of his pride, and is deeply concerned with the needs of his people. He believes in being honorable at all times and defending the honor of both his family and homeland, something taught to him by his mother.

History: Salehe is the son fo Malka and Baka and younger twin to Hiari. Even though his mother tried to distance him and Salehe from Diallo (it was only when he was older he truly understood her reasons and sympathised with her somewhat) because he was only their half-brother. Salehe loved Diallo fiercely and, blood or not, saw him as an elder brother and his best friend.

When Hiari got betrothed to the Prince of the Bahari Pride, Obi, Salehe was supportive of his sister but was concerned at how 'fairy tale-ish; her view of it was. He was at this point studying and training and doing all that he could to ensure he was properly prepared if the mantle of King should be passed to him after his father's death.

However, when Obi broke the betrothal with Hiari, sending his sister into a deep depression, Salehe was furious. He saw it as a slight on his sister's honor, that somehow this prince didn't think Hiari was 'good enough' for him and vowed he would see justice done, one way or another. 

However, he wouldn't get the chance as not only had Obi fled his homeland but Malka also brokered a new agreement with Kamaji. Kamaji's eldest daughter, Aida, would be betrothed to Salehe in place of her brother and would be coming to live with them in the mountains. Salehe was not happy with this and tried to convince his father to abandon the match and simply allow him to track down Obi and make the other lion answer for his dishonorable actions but Malka refused.

When Aida arrived in the Kilima Pride, Salehe gave her the cold shoulder. He didn't believe that Kamaji's other cubs would have any more honor than their brother and refused to speak to her (which wasn't hard as she was mute herself).
