Personality: Baka is quite a calm and level-headed lioness. She puts a great deal of importance on family and honor, she will remain loyal to them no matter what. She can come off as cold to people she doesn't like but she generally tries to treat everyone with respect despite her own feelings. 

History: Baka was born in the Kilima Pride and from a young age she fancied Prince Malka. It was widely believed that once Malka's uncle (the current pride leader) died, he was most likely to become king after him. Baka, however, just thought he was handsome and sweet despite the fact that he didn'tlike her because, in his words 'girls were icky'.

Eventually, however, his tune changed when he was a teenager and Baka often hoped that the young prince would notice her. It made her unbelievably happy when she and Malka were betrothed to each other. She couldn't imagine that she would actually get to become Queen if Malka was elected as the pride's ruler.

However, her happiness was not to last.

One day, Malka arrived back at the pride with a newborn cub claiming that the cub was his son. Baka was both heartbroken and furious that Malka would go against their betrothal, something highly dishonorable, and father a cub with some other lioness. Eventually, Malka apologised to her stating that he was stupid in forgetting his bond to her and that he would never betray her like that again. However, Malka insisted that he raise his son in the Kilima Pride and there was not much Baka could do about that.

Eventually, Malka's uncle died and the pride elected Malka as their new King and he soon married Baka as was expected.

Baka tried to act like a mother to Malka's son but she couldn't bring herself to get over the hurt she felt when she looked at the cub. She cared for the cub but she was always cold about it, keeping the boy well informed that he was not her son. She wasn't cruel with him but she was distant and slightly resentful of his presence (though she tried not to show it).

Baka still loved Malka and in time she believed he came to love her as well. She gave him healthy twin cubs Salehe (boy) and Hiari (girl).
