Name: Akasha (Kasha for short)

Parents: Mflame and Dendera

Siblings: Penda (half-sister) and one deceased twin brother

Mate: Zemar

Children: Asani, Akili, Zula, Zahir, Kanoa (adopted son) and Kya/Sahara (adopted daughter)

Personality: Akasha is an independant young lioness with a love of adventure and fun. She may not be the most trustful person at first but when she warms up to you she can be a very loyal friend but if she doesn't like you, she probably never will.

History: Akasha was Mflame's daughter from his second mate, Dendera. Her and her brother's births were difficult and resulted in the death of her mother and brother. She was named after her grandmother and was rasied by her father in the Waterside Pride.

When her father grew older she learnt that he had another mate befopre her mother and she was both outraged and hurt, but she accompanied him to find his first mate because she didn't like the thought of him going alone at his age. They didn't find his mate but they did find his daughter, Penda, Akasha took an instant dislike to her especially when her father insisted they stay in the Pridelands for a few months.

Finally, the time came that her father wanted to go back to the Waterside Pride but he died on the return journey leaving Akasha alone, without any family save for her half-sister. Akasha returned to the Waterside Pride alone.

Akasha made several trips back to the Pridelands, honouring her father's wishes that she keep in contact with her half-sister and over time the two developed a friendship. Akasha was offered a place in the Pridelands pride but declined, she loved the Waterside Pride too much to abandon them.

On one trip back to the Waterside Pride, Akasha discovered a badly injured cub near the desert. Knowing that an injured cub wouldn't survive long she took the cub back with her to the Waterside Pride so her injuries could be properly treated.

The cub seemed quite traumitized by her experience and didn't speak for several weeks, even when she did speak she never gave any information about her family or what happened to her, she never even gave her name. Due to the Pride's nickname for her, she became known as Sahara, because she was found near the desert.
