Personality:  Alala is very sweet and very cheerful. She is a patient, kind meerkat who likes to befriend others and can be talkative if they show any signs of liking her. She has a very strong patience for those who are cruel, but if she's pushed too far, can become quite loud and angry. 

Positive character traits: Kind, patient, cheerful and optimistic

Negative character traits: At times, a bit worrisome, easily tires out, and sometimes seems to be "too friendly", although she just means well.

History/Bio:

Alala was a meerkat who questioned why she dug. Unlike Timon, she kept her mouth closed, but the purpose just didn't seem to have any. It was hard, it was boring, and it made everyone seem so... bland. While she dug, she would often daydream about being out in the open, seeing things the others never usually saw and doing things the others would normally gasp or frown upon. But, dream was all she could do, as there were rules to be followed and tunnels to be dug.

One night, she had enough. Her paws were extremely sore from the day's especially rough day of work, and it just didn't seem that it would let up. "Doesn't anyone know how to lighten up around here?" She thought as she sat up. She realized that she was starting to sound like that other crazy meerkar, Timon. But this time, she didn't really mind. She just wanted to be free. But... how?

That very night, Alala decided that she would get up and leave. Why not? She had seen a few meerkats do so already (and secretly admired them for that!), so she would do just the same. Besides, she didn't really fit in here, anyways-- she was teased for her looks and didn't really have any friends, anyways. The other meerkats looked practically baffled anytime she would say hello! So with that, Alala climbed out of the tunnels and into the warm African night. The stars were beautiful as ever and a breeze ruffled through her fur. Alala smiled. This was exactly where she belonged all along.
