Personality: Andei is often seen as very upbeat and happy, as she often enjoys laughing and cracking jokes with her friends. Around her friends, she's hardly ever serious, and is often seen trying to make situations lighter. She has a tomboyish streak, and has fun playing around in mud and enjoying her time as a cub.

Many see her as immature, since she often looks at things with laughter, but she's surprisingly smart and looks things over carefully when making a decision. She can often be seen as protective over her friends when others try to act badly towards them, and isn't afraid to put on a mad face when her short fuse blows. If the time calls for it, she can be serious, but she prefers to keep a happy face.

Andei was born to two lions, both from more northern prides who had joined Chumvi's Pride as young adults. When she was born, her parents had already conceived another cub, who at the time was a teenage male. Andei was raised in the pride, which resided in the jungle, where she grew used to the warmer climate and often enjoyed playing with some of the other cubs, namely her brother despite their arguments. Growing up, Andei became especially close to Kula, and often the two would go on walks or talk about life, despite their age gap.

When she was a teenager, and able to travel, Andei and her family would often venture out from the pride, with the king's permission of course, to visit their relatives in the far north before coming back to Chumvi's pride. Like clockwork, they would travel back and forth, spending an equal amount of time with their blood family and their friends. On one of those trips, when she was a young adult, she was resting beside a waterhole when she met Roni. Though very wary and shy at first, the two eventually became friends, and later on, almost sisters practically. And whenever Roni brings up Akiki, Andei quickly wishes that she could show that lioness up herself.
