Personality: Damu is a total opposite of his parents. Despite his rather rough appearance and the fact he looks very much like his father, he is a real gentleman with his heart in the right place; He's kind and gentle and wouldn't hurt a fly, and he takes more after his late uncle Mufasa and cousin Simba in personality. He hates having to reveal his teeth or claws all though it is sometimes required to defend himself or his loved ones, but still Damu considers violence as the ultimate option and if nothing else seems to solve the situation or problem. Damu is a rather careless lion who doesn't worry about what others think of him, he's happy and cheerful and in general he doesn't take life too seriously.

History: After Scar took over the Pride lands, he chose one of followers, a young lioness by the name Zira as his queen and she later gave him two sons, Damu and his older twin brother Nuka. Even though Damu was the younger one, Scar could see right away he had clearly more potential on being king than his big brother, and thus he was made to be next in line for the throne. But much to Scar's dissapointment, Damu never seemed to be interested in the lessons he gave him about being king and all other important things, and the little cub often sneaked away from the training just to go play with his brother. At some point though, there started to be some tension between the two brothers, and for a while Damu couldn't figure out what it was, until Nuka one day confronted him about being the chosen heir while he wasn't even interested in being king,  and that he should've made the heir instead. Of course, Damu who had no idea of the horrible deeds his father had done to reach his goal and get the throne, he couldn't think anything bad about Scar so he decided to go talk to him, and see if he'd change his mind and would made Nuka next in line for the throne instead of him. Nuka caught up to him and demanded he should express his opinion to him personally. Damu agreed, following after him just in case. This was good, because when Nuka told their father how he felt about the arragement, Scar got extremely mad, and attacked Nuka. Shocked, Damu managed to get Nuka away from Scar, and the cubs fled into the deepest part of the cave in Pride rock. Nuka had gotten away with only a few small scratches, but they still both shocked and Damu couldn't believe his father had attacked his brother. This was sort of a wake up call for then both, Damu started to think there was something they needed to know about Scar and the pride's situaton. And then, it happened; One day, as Damu and Nuka were reaching their teens, Simba, the rightful heir returned and a battle begun between the hyenas and the pridelander lionesses. And it was then, when Scar's horrible secret was revealed to Damu, when Scar confessed he had murdered the former king and Damu's uncle Mufasa. The young lion no longer saw his father, he saw a monster. After Scar's death, he didn't even feel bad; he felt he had gotten what he deserved and as Simba took his rightful place, Zira and all of Scar's other followers were banished. Damu was allowed to stay, tough, for Simba saw there was no evil inside him even though he was a spitting image of his father. So, as the Pride lands started to bloom again with the reign of the new king, Damu was also growing fastly into a handsome and strong adult lion.
