Personality: Always serious, never smiles. Dekka is an intimidating force to be reckoned with. She speaks little, and uses mainly her body language to communicate. When she does speak, it's usually with a sarcastic trace in her voice. She is very high strung and doesn't listen to anyone but herself (with exception, of course, to Kiara. She will follow her no matter what). Dekka keeps to herself, observes the world passively, and offers little opinion, except when it matters the most.

History: Dekka's mother hailed from a lion pride that was very close-knitted, to the point where inbreeding was the norm. They were very violent and domineering. Dekka's mother had mated with a rogue lion, and snuck away from the pride to avoid being killed by her father for breaking away from the family tradition. She found safety within the confines of Zira's pride in the newly formed Outlands, and it was there that she gave birth to Dekka.

Dekka was a quiet one from birth - she spoke little to others, and kept to herself. She might've mingled with Nuka and Vitani now and again, but otherwise she was always off on her own. Her mother constantly berated her for that. Dekka always had a turbulent relationship with her mother, and never really loved her as she could've been. In fact, as Dekka grew older, she tried to distance herself from her abusive mother, which resulted in her mother taking her away from the Outlands, and fighting her.

Dekka won the battle, and came back, and told everyone that her mother had died in a tragic accident. The scars on her neck are the result of her battle.

Dekka participated in the final fight between Zira and Simba's prides, and she was the first to defect after seeing Kiara for the first time. In the rain, she was absolutely beautiful, and Dekka could not help, but fall in love with her immediately. Of course, this provided inner turmoil since Kovu was in love with Kiara and she with him, and Dekka was not happy nor supportive of that romance. For Kiara's sake, Dekka quickly assimilated into daily life living in Simba's pride, but continued to keep herself at a distance from others. She would always quietly observe what it was Kiara and Kovu were doing, and her heart pained when Kiara and Kovu announced that they were mates.

Facing inner turmoil on whether to seize an opportunity to win Kiara's heart by doing something about Kovu, for now Dekka became Kiara's personal bodyguard, and watched over her like a hawk. Even when Kiara is wrong, Dekka will always defend her honor.
