Personal

Personality: Hasina is tough, assertive, and not afraid to speak her mind; but at the same time, she has a compassionate and loyal spirit. Her softer side is demonstrated in the presence of her family. She is a fighter and rarely shows signs of breaking in the face of danger. The former princess has a mild tendency to hold grudges, but often learns that time will heal and that showing mercy is the best route to happiness. She likes keeping an open mind and is often willing to try new things, as told in her history, where she was eager to leave the Pridelands and explore the rest of the world. Hasina isn't one to judge and has a fairly wide range of groups as friends, including outlanders. She accepts others as they are and is mostly known to be one of the most genuine and responsible lionesses portrayed, however that certainly will not stop her from having her way of fun. She will always be up for an adventure.

History: Born into royalty, Hasina was a very happy cub. Her parents were Kovu and Kiara, king and queen of the Pridelands. She was born into a fairly large litter that insisted three other cubs! Kiara had given birth to one male, and three other females, Hasina included. The lioness was the second born, however showed just as much promise as the first born, which to no surprise, was the male.

As they grew up, Hasina and her brother Jamba were the ones who stuck together the most, often leading their younger sisters into small games they liked to call adventures. They had a childhood a cub should have.

Almost every night, she and Jamba sat up on the edge of Pride Rock and looked up at the stars, talking and imagining what it would be like to live outside of the Pridelands while their sisters dozed off into their slumbers inside Pride Rock. They had hopes and dreams nobody would have ever imagined... but they were only cubs, and life wasn't always as bright as they thought it was. Slowly as they grew inch by inch, their dreams seemed to be more of a childhood blur, at least to Jamba it was. Soon, it was only Hasina who was gazing up at the stars, hoping and wishing, but on what? At the time, she wasn't quite sure herself. The princess just didn't feel right and that her place was out there. She wanted to explore and discover the world, see what's like to be entirely independant.

One day, she talked to her parents concerning her plans. Hasina wanted to leave and she was determined about it. Kiara was rather devastated about this, while Kovu was supportive. He had seen this coming, seeing as how Hasina constantly brought this subject up when she was a cub. Kiara ended up accepting her idea of leaving the Pridelands, and not long after, Hasina had executed her plan, finally being free and moving away. Even though she was always welcomed back to the Pridelands, she was sure she would find her place in the Outlands.
