Personality: Dedicated, has a heart of gold, and is always looking out for the rest of the pride. However, he is very submissive to Scar, and does whatever he asks of him because he is grateful for what the older lion has done for him, and therefore doesn't feel he should go against his word. Nevertheless, Imamu provides the voice of reason to Scar, and will do whatever is asked of him.

History: Imamu was very young when news of Mufasa's and Simba's deaths were announced. Sarafina, along with Mega and Mheetu, departed from the pride, but at her insistance, Sarafina ordered Nala to stay as she felt her daughter would have a better existance living under Scar's rule instead of living a harsh life in the wild. She also had to care for Imamu since he was still young.

Nala did not look out for her brother, as she was too distraught over Simba's death to want to be involved with her younger brother. She mainly hung out with Kula and Tama, and thus Imamu was taken in by Scar, who decided that he would exploit the young cub, and make him follow in his pawprints, as he had no heirs at the time. Imamu looked up to Scar, and as he grew older he decided he would always follow in Scar's steps. He swore loyalty to the older lion, and even as Scar fathered cubs with the other lionesses in the pride, he still thought of Imamu as a grand prize among all of his cubs.

Imamu, now a large lion, even larger than Scar, grew to be a valuable assest to the pride. He was too gullible, and always obeyed orders. Scar often sent him to patrol the lands, and to fight off any other lions or lionesses that dared to overtake Scar's rule. Scar decided that, as a reward for Imamu's undying loyalty, that he would betrothe his daughter with Sarabi, Nyarai. Nyarai was not at all happy about the engagement, but Imamu was absolutely delighted that they were to be together.

Unbeknowst to him, Nyarai would be the key to Imamu opening his eyes about Scar...
