Personality: Iva is a generally well-built, small lioness with an underbite, some small scars, an inward-facing left paw, and an attitude of a meerkat. She is often doesn't give herself enough time to sleep, especially when she's by herself because she is constantly aware of her surroundings. She loves to have a good meal every once in awhile and isn't a picky eater, she can and will eat everything edible that she can get her paws on when she's extremely hungry, including greens and bugs. She has trust issues, due to be partially abused as a young cub, but will warm up to others when she see's fit.

History: Iva was born to an unnamed set of parents who were absolutely disgusted with her. They thought of her as a thorn in their side, hence her name. They didn't want a female, so they often picked on her; calling her names, batting at her, and among other thing's, they simply neglected her. Iva eventually taught herself how to hunt from small animals, and bugs, and how to fight.

She grew fed up and finally left, to which her parents begged her to come back. She foolishly did, and that resulted in them giving her infamous scars. She left again and ignored her parents pleas, knowing that death was very much in her future if she returned.

In her time away from her parents, she found a new place to call home; the Prideland's. It was but a fairytale that her parents had told her about, thinking that she wouldn't go looking for it, but, of course, she did. She kept to herself for the most part, she didn't want to introduce herself to any of the animals. In turn, she kept to eating bugs until she felt more accepted, to which they did accept her after awhile.

During that time of isolation, she met Mahili, the old king's granddaughter. She was a larger lioness, obviously more fit for fighting and guarding the king other than hunting with the lioness'. The two seemingly clicked after just a few minutes of small talk. Their personalities had first collided into each other but slowly began to melt into one another.

The two ultimately made the choice of leaving the Prideland's and travel the vast land to live together. They set out when the night was at its midpoint, to which Iva was exhausted, despite being constantly alert, and could barely walk Mahili ended up carrying her new companion through the night as they searched for a new place to call home.
