Personality: As a cub she is very insightful and polite. She worshipped the ground her mother walked on, and idolized her very much. Of course this is not to say she didn't love her father, but Katura held her mother in such high regard that she wanted to be like her. After Aboyo's murder, however, Katura's mind broke, and she became an individual who walked with no purpose except for revenge. She became less trusting of others except for her father and brother, but even then Aboyo's death and the tragedy of it caused Katura to clam up.

History: After her and Dakarai became mates, Aboyo wanted to start a family with him. A few months later and Aboyo gave birth to two cubs, a female and a male. Katura was the name bestowed upon the female cub, and since she was able to walk Katura always walked in her mother's shadow, admiring what she did as a diplomatic presence for her uncle's pride. It inspired her to want to become like her mother.

For years Mega's pride lived happily, until the day when Malka's pride invaded them in an unprovoked attack. Katura was caught in the midst of battle, and despite managing to survive the attack, if the battle did not break her mind then it was surely Aboyo's and Mega's deaths. Finding out that Malka and his mate Halla were responsible for their deaths, Katura decided to slowly plan out a way to get them back to avenge her mother. Despite the pride attempting to pull itself back together, Katura refused to move on from her mother's death - she couldn't. Every night was plagued with nightmares, traumatic images of her mother being mercilessly slaughtered and her being unable to save her. Katura relived these horrible nightmares every night.

Finally coming up with a plan of action, Katura left her family pride to seek out Malka's. When she eventually found them, she was surprised to find herself a prisoner of 'war', not knowing the horrible reputation the pride had. Meanwhile Malka and Halla were grieving the loss of their son Maalik who disappeared after a huge fight with his father, and in a way Malka and Halla turned their eyes to Katura. A strange bond between the three was formed as each was trying to replace something they lost - Malka and Halla their son, and Katura her mother. Forming an unusually tight bond with Halla, it soon dawned on Katura that she couldn't kill her because she loved her too much.

Despite this revelation that she did love Halla like a mother, the pain of losing Aboyo caught up to Katura eventually, and after a particularly traumatizing nightmare Katura decided to take it upon herself to do the deed at last. Requesting Halla to join her for a stroll, Katura attacked her, but when the opportunity presented itself she found herself unable to kill Halla. In her anguish Katura fled to the mountains.
