Personality: Khalid is a very shy and closed guy, with a not so high self esteem, he thinks of himself as not as important as others, and usually he prefers to stay away from large groups. He is a rather frigthened nature, and slightly scared of bigger lions, mostly because he's not so big or strong himself, that's why he always backs away when someone challenges him to a fight, and often others make fun of him because of this, some even call him the "biggest coward of the Pride lands". To those who know him, however Khalid is a really sweet and caring lion, and loves his family more than anything in the world.

History: Khalid was born a few days after his two brothers, Mufasa and Taka, to king Ahadi and queen Uru of the Pride lands. He was very weak and sick when he was born, and considered the runt, who wouldn't necessarily make it, but somehow he managed to pull off , with the help of Rafiki. Not only was Khalid the youngest, he was also the smallest of the three cubs, and often got left out when his brothers went to venture the lands and play. Khalid was close with his mother and father, and his eldest brother Mufasa, but the second oldest, Taka, didn't like him at all and often called him rather bad names, such as "the unwanted brat". Ever so often poor Khalid was the target of Taka's bullying, and if he was on a bad mood, he took it out on his little brother. AHadi had to break fights between them so many times he had lost count, and night after night he comforted Khalid, who cried and told his father he couldn't understand why Taka was acting that way towards him. Ahadi told him everything would be all right, but no one could've expected what was coming. A few days later, Khalid saw Taka running away from Pride rock in tears, after being yelled at by his fatehr because of the way he'd been treading Khalid. Khalid ran after his big brother, and as they reached the river, Taka stopped, turned around and told Khalid to leave him alone. Khalid tried to explain to Taka that he wasn't mad at him, but Taka snapped at him, and jumped on what he thought was a log, but was really a crocodile. Khalid jumped after him, but then the crocodiles attacked, Taka managed to jump to the ledge of the gorge, but Khalid was trapped on a tree branch and crocs were approaching him. He called for Taka to help him, but Taka smirked his eyes, and just said: "Save yourself, you unwanted brat!" and then he climbed up and fled. Khalid cried desperatly after his brother, but then the branch broke, and Khalid fell to the water. But just when the crocodile was about to  get him, Ahadi stepped in, grabbed Khalid from the neck and climbed up the gorge. The cub was all wet, and shaking, and after he told his fatehr what happened, Ahadi was furious, and went to confront Taka, but then he completely lost his temper, and slashed the cub on the face, giving him a scar on the left eye. After that Taka wasn't the same anymore, from that on he was the silent one of the group, and barely talked to anyone anymore. Some time passed, soon it had been a year and Khalid, Mufasa and Taka had all grown into handsome and strng adult lions.
