Appearance: Cream colored pelt with a lighter belly, chest and muzzle. Slightly darker back and tail tip. Dark grey ears, brown nose and some darker fur on the muzzle. Slender body with small paws and stumpy tail. Sleek paws with a back paw slightly twisted, leaving him limping. Light yellow eyes with dark brown iris.

Personality: Unlike his mentor Rafiki, Kobe is a quiet, moody and sometimes a sarcastic character. Some can describe him to be rude however that is decided by the way others act around him. He rarely shows sympathy to the animals he's helping, saying that he isn't their mother to be licking every scratch they get. Older lions often say that he's dignified, honorable and should be respected because one day he might save their life when the hope could be lost. Although many see him in a negative way, he's wise, loyal and reverent to the kings and queens of the pridelands.

Strengths: Knowledge of herbs, able to stay calm during the most life-threatening situations, knowledge of illnesses and sicknesses

Weaknesses: Broken back paw, unable to hunt properly (prey brought by the hunters of the pridelands as a gift for healing their injuries)

Abilities: Able to talk to the kings and queens of the past (shaman ability, similar to Mufasa telling Rafiki about Kovu and Kiara in TLK2)

History: 

Kobe and his sisters were born not long after the battle of pridelanders and outlanders. First year of his life, the four kits stayed with their mother however soon each of them went their own ways. 

For a while, the caracal stayed on top of the gorge, hunting the smaller prey that he found there. Although it was hard to survive there, he enjoyed the challenge of survival. 

By the time he was two years old, life continued to be normal until he met the prideland lions. 

He stalked the plump mouse through the grass, not taking his eyes off the tiny brown figure. Suddenly, his ears twitched as a low growl came from not too far away. Staying in the crouch position, he focused his gaze on the grass beyond the zebra herd that stood a few leaps away. Without a warning two lionesses exploded from the grass, their paws pounding the ground. On both sides of the zebras stood a lioness, carefully trying to separate one from the group. Their hooves slamming down, they ran, trying to escape the sharp fangs of the lionesses. As fast as he could, Kobe leaped to his paws, charging  through the dry Savannah grass. The creatures charged past him in a blur, banging into his sides with their bigger bodies. Each hit shot pain from his ear tips to the tail. His head swung around, hoping to see an opening in the wall of the herd. Without giving the caracal time to react, his paw slipped beneath him. Rushing in fear, the bigger animals didn't notice the dust-cloaked creature on the ground. He could feel their hooves bashing into his body, making him let out a muffled yowl of pain every time. Stay like this and get drummed to death by the heavy hooves or try to escape. Closing his eyes, Kobe let out a sharp breath. Tensing all the muscles in his body, he flung himself across the ground. Fresh air hit his nose but was soon cut off by a screech of pain. As the herd passed, his vision blurred however he could still see one thing clear. A dust clouded fluffed up pelt with his back paw lying awkwardly twisted. Taking in a shuddering breath, he tried to move it, no luck. His head dropped to the ground as the blackness swallowed his vision and the land went quiet. 

The scent of weird plants and water awoke him from the dark nightmare. He was lying in the shade of a tall baobab tree, it's thick branches overhead covering the sun. A dark grey shape was standing a leap away, mumbling something under his breath. Probably hearing the shuffling paws of the caracal, the shape turned around, revealing an elderly looking baboon. 

For the past few months Kobe stayed around with the baboon, recovering and strengthening up his three paws. Finding hunting even the easiest prey was becoming a difficult, ending up fallen over or too tiered to continue the hunt. While recovering, the knowledge of different healing strategies flooded his mind.

Some month later, the elderly baboon died making Kobe the new shaman of pridelands and being the one to present the first cub of king Kovu and queen Kiara, princess Kiania. Due to the fact that he isn't able to climb, he managed to make himself a den at the foot of the baobab, making sure to have anything needed. To repay the help that he gave to the animals, lionesses would bring some prey for him.
