Personality: A bit senical, proud,stubborn, very intellegant, Secretive, doesn't trust others easily, cautious,loyal to those she does trust and care for, sarcastic, a bit of a loner, and very motherly towards her siblings and cubs who have no parents. She can hold a grudge but she isn't against forgiving. She can come off as stuck up and others tend to stay clear of her thinking she could go off/snap at any second, though she is very patient. Has the ability to be a leader though she is willing to be a follower to some exstent. Maeve is also very creative, and can be very courageous and at points aggressive. 
Likes: Cubs, her family, being off on her own, hunting, mysteries, moonlight,waterfalls, inspiring others, sharing her view on things though she rarely does it.
Dislikes: overall loudness, how vengeful Zira was, surprises.

History:  Maeve is the daugther of The Selfish lion and a random lioness, the two lions left Maeve in the outlands around the time Kovu and Vitani were still nursing so Zira took the cub in hopping to have her as Kovu's future mate when he took over the Pridelands. Maeve seemed to have plenty of potinetial until she became secrets friends of Kopa. When Vitani discovered the two playing one day she decided to join in on the fun, Zira became suspicious and one day followed the girls to the spot Kopa was at. Enraged Zira supposedly killed off Kopa, causing the girls to become distant and more aggressive and pesstimistic. When Kovu met Kiara, Maeve was worried for her brother and the cub he met when Zira and him returned one day from the directions of the Pridelands. The next day before the other lions awoke Kovu confided in his sister about Kiara and not wanting to hurt her. Maeve felt horrible for her brother and wanted to console her brother though she wasn't sure how. 
When Kovu set off for the pridelands as a young adult Maeve was over joyed for her brother who would get to see Kiara again and hoped he would use this as a chance to get away from the outlands perminately. Though she loved Zira as if she was her own birth mother, she had come to terms with the fact Zira be her own death being blinded with the revenge. Maeve kept that thought t herself though and thought it was just a matter of time, as days went by Maeve got more anxious and when she had heard how her brother had not killed Simba filled her heart with joy that she shared with no one.
When Nuka was killed, Maeve was heartbroken but never blamed her brother, when Kovu left to go return to the pridelands Maeve followed him wanting to help him and the pridelanders anyway possible. After Zira fell to her death and the outlanders became excepted as pridelanders Maeve felt proud of her brother though she never really spoke it much except in privacey still hardened and cautious from how she had been raised. Her and Kiara became close friends and thought Kiara reminded her of Kopa at times. Maeve though she loved being a part of priderock found herself sleeping down in a small cave not far from priderock feeling closed in everytime she slept with the pride. Even though the other pridelanders never completely trusted Maeve she was at peace with her life hoping to one day find love like her brother did.
