Maliha was born with her twin sister Alika. She loved her family very much, spending a lot of time with her mother, sister, aunt and adoptive siblings and their friends.

Maliha is very determined and focussed. She noticed that Kensai, her adoptive brother, and Kori, her friend, were lonely. So she planned with Alika to get them together. She asks them to sit next to each other at Tafari and Radhi’s Joining Ceremony and tries to be as innocent as possible when she notices Kensai raise his eyebrow at her. She liked it when he father winked at her – she knew she was right!

Maliha and Alika liked playing in the Pridelands. Maliha’s favourite game was tag and chase because she was good at it! One day, she ran into Kani and knew he would make a brilliant friend, so was pleased when he became a part of Moto’s teaching group.

Maliha dreamed of being a protector of the Pride, just like Moto, but she was worried that her father wouldn’t allow her to be one because she would be a lioness and therefore easier for male lions to attack her. This didn’t stop her, practising and training by herself in secret and with Moto.
