Personality: Mirani is obedient, serious, sarcastic, sometimes she's rigid, bossy, and loyal to her leader. Mirani highly values ​​obedience to her leader, and doesn't question his orders, no matter how cruel they are, since young hse has been taught to follow rules and orders, nothing else should matter in her life. Mirani likes to be appreciated and commended for her service.

History: Mirani's parents were African Barn owls who traveled a lot, they never kept the same nest. One day they decided to live in the Pridelands, Mirani has born along with her 3 siblings. All Mirani's siblings were stronger than her, and because of that her parents thought tha she was weak and they started to ignore and neglect her, Mirani always wanted to be loved by her parents so she followed their orders and gave her best, but still she, since she was an owlet she dreamed of being admired and respected. As teenager Mirani lefted her nest started her own home in a small hollow, she has grown into a lonely, angry and melancholy owl, who always kept her dream of one day being someone important. Unfortunately, there hasn't many owls in the Pridelands that Mirani could relate, only others birds species that were at least her friends, she was literally lonely.

When Mufasa died, and Scar became king of the Pridelands things got worse for all animals, in a few years, the land got weak, food and water became scarce, still with all these problems, Mirani has not been impaired, actually, she not even noticed the changes, she had more chances to feed on much more rodents than before. One day, Mirani got tired of her monotonous life, and decided to make some changes in her attitudes and achieve her goal of beign more than what she was. In an evening she went to the Priderock and searched for Scar, she wanted to serve him somehow, then Scar saw that Zazu had started to become useless for him, despite the fact that he helped the lionesses to found food, he wasn't the marjodomo Scar wanted, so Zazu had been "fired" and Mirani replaced him. Scar liked the way Mirani followed all his orders, he told her to watch the lionesses and warn him about any kind of conspiracy or rumor against him, watch them during their hunt so that none of them could scape and transmitted his messages for his subjects, she never disobeyed or failed her king orders, soon Scar got really satisfied with Mirani's progress, finally someone he could trust, so he promoted her as his personal advicer (only when needed).

Zazu became more and more useless, one day Scar allowed that Zazu could leave the Priderock or die there, but Zazu was loyal to Sarabi and the lioness and end up losing control and arguing with Scar, comparing him to Mufasa, Scar got more than mad with Zazu and trapped him in a cage as punishment, but beign trpped was just the beggining, Scar told Mirani to found Zazu's family and kill them, and as always Mirani obeyed, she knew that this was a cruel thing to do, but still she only cared about being apreciated, nothing else matters. She flew into Zazu's family nest, and killed his wife and the 3 hatchlings, she came back to the Priderock feeling a little bad about herself, but she coudn't stop thinking about Scar's approval for her well done job. Scar told Zazu that his family had died, but he never mentioned that Mirani killed them.

When Scar fell in love with Zira, and started to spent more time with her, Mirani had more time to herself, but she had no friends, sometimes she talked to hyenas, but it was just bussines, soon she started to think about all she was doing, was her attitude the right attitude? Of course not! But she couldn't leave all behind, she had to go on. When Zira had first cubs, and had no time to take care  of them, Mirani became a babysitter, she fed the cubs with rats and lizards she hunted, and took care of them for a few months when needed. When Simba dethroned Scar, became the new king and exiled Zira, Mirani went to the exile with Zira and the outlanders, she helped Zira to enter and leave the Pridelands, and still took care of Vitani and Kovu, Mirani leaved the Pridelands and went to new lands when Kovu, Vitani and Nuka we're already young adults, since she could not help with anything more.
