Moyo was born in the Pridelands. Her family loved her a lot and the cared for her really well. She was really happy. Her family were very friendly with Busara’s family, so Moyo managed to spend a lot of time with him, even at a young age.

When she was a few years old, Moyo’s life turned upside down as Busara came to live with her family. His family were moving away, but he didn’t want to because he didn’t want to leave Moyo. Moyo’s parents cared after Busara as well and Moyo felt brilliant because she was beginning to love him.

Moyo spent all her time with Busara and they fell in love, knowing they would stay together forever.

About two years later, Moyo met Chimalsi. Chimalsi first met the cheetahs at night when he was lovesick. Moyo could see that this was an honest lion and also a lion that needed some friends.

They had some brilliant nights together, the three of them. One time, they made Chimalsi look like a cheetah using the mud from a waterhole as spots. Another time, Chimalsi and Moyo pretended to fall in love. Moyo saw how hurt Busara looked so she had to go after him and say that it was a joke.

Then, one day, Chimalsi stopped coming. Moyo saw him once from a distance with a white lioness. Obviously Chimalsi had found a mate.

Moyo could tell Busara missed Chimalsi, but she was with him and they spent their time together. Then, one day, Busara came running home with an important message.

“Moyo! We have been asked to go to Pride Rock and live with Chimalsi!”

“What?! How come?”

“Chimalsi wants me to be his Major-Domo!”

“That’s brilliant Busara!”

Then they left together for Pride Rock.

There they lived happily for many years until a dreadful disease killed of many members of the Pride, including Moyo.
